yeah i think the new makeover is fab now that i have got used to it.
Trying to get the motivation back for surveys, but get so annoyed when you get screened out after 5 minutes, this has happened 3 times this evening .
Also avoiding tescos like the plaque as every time i go in there is spend at least 50 quid.
Am waiting patiently for halifax to update our mortgage balance online, hopefully will show up tomorrow :D.
Have just been playing around with mortgage calculators and to be mortgage free by the time i am 40 ( ten years) we need to overpay roughly £500 per month, which would be difficult, but anything is possible and its certainly something to aim for :D.

Halifax balance has updated :j:j, So i got straight on the phone and have reduced our term from 19 years 8 months to 15 years and have only had to increase our monthly payment by £84 due to the lump sum we paid off :D.
I really feel like we are making good progress because in the last 6 month we have shortened our term by 7 years!!! . Never did i think this would be possible, the only problem is now i want it down to 10 years......:rotfl::rotfl:. Off to catch up on some diaries :D

Hi everyone, the car is ready and has cost £150....not as bad as i thought. If we had of went to a dealer it would have been over £500...but OH's friend is a mechanic and managed to get second hand parts and doesnt charge an arm and a leg for labour....am nearly afraid to drive it now incase something else breaks...fingers crossed!!
Received letter from halifax confirming mortgage term has been shortened to 15 years and the payment has only increased by £67, not the £84 they told me it would increase by :j:j.
