    Hi WABL,

Have just been catching up on your diary. I too have a 6 figure mortgage and felt inspired by your diary. One question, I also bank with Halifax and recently when i made a 3000 O/P i had to go into branch to do it. I do bank online and have my mortgage on there and would like to make extra payments as and when I have the cash. How do you make the O/P apart from SO? Would be so much easier if it could be done online.

Thanks, I will be following your diary with interest

Hi Cath, Unfortunately if you bank with the halifax and have your mortgage with them aswell you cant do online payments on an ad hoc basis. Not sure why they operate this way, but the only ones who are able to do it are those who bank elsewhere, seems silly to me but a lot of people have posted on here about this problem before. Goodluck with your overpayments.

Hello to everyone else.....there has been a bit of a change in our circumstances......i am sixteen weeks pregnant...didnt mention it before now as i have had a couple of miscarriages. Have had my scan and all seems to be well so far :D....fingers crossed.

This will be baby number three for us, not sure how it will change things, but i cant see myself working full time after this baby and then of course we will have the additional childcare costs...so i think the MFW journey will be slowing down.
We are on target for the MFi3-T2 challenge and i would love to reach our goal...but we will have to wait and see. At the minute we are concentrating on building up a good savings pot to cover the shortfall when i am on maternity leave.

Have just realised that i can use my tesco vouchers for travelling with stena line, which will almost offset the £300 cost for the boat for our summer holiday. Yee haa :money:

Thank you soo much everyone for your kind wishes and for posting. I just wish the tiredness would leave as i am constantly exhausted and really irritable....i am even annoying myself :rotfl::rotfl:.
Have been off the forums for a couple of days as my laptop died , the motherboard has went and seems to be a fault with the particular model i had, and of course it was out of warranty!!
OH has bought me a new one today for my 30th birthday, which is on monday :D, however could have thought of better ways to spend £470  but i couldnt survive any longer without a computer!

I feel like there have been so many one off expenses at the minute that i am just about managing to keep afloat, although we have our caravan for sale, as with the new baby on the way we arent going to get much use out of it. We are hoping it sells for about £2000.....so fingers crossed....must go and play with the spreadsheets.

    Have a good weekend everyone.
