my mate was here for a bout an hour and brought me a CD for Christmas - Forever Friends (like the birthday cards) its good with a lot of oldies like me!!!

Very little work done today, but the heating seems to be behaving again (for the moment) and I'm acquiring plenty of work to do next week. I really should get some writing done before client-facing work picks up...

Been to Morrisons and managed to buy 2 bedside tables at £12.00 each from the £25.00 voucher wys £40, so added some essentials in the mix and bought the lovely shop assistant, who gave me her spare receipt, a bunch of flowers as a massive THANK YOU for her kindness.

She was really taken aback and chuffed so I'm glad I made the effort to be thoughtful.:D

Bought some buttermilk because it was reduced and now going to find a buttermilk recipe, any ideas throw my way.;)

So whilst out, my DD1 has hoovered the stairs and hallway and landing and tidied it up. Whislt not strictly something to take credit for at least some flying has occurred in my absence.:D


Toots, yep, you're right, awful aren't there, blooming coldsores, mine came about after I had a huge meltdown the other day....it was a biggie...:o. Hope you are ok hun. We were going to head to P at New Year for our NY party, we always tend to go up there and I was going to see if we could meet....but , we're not going now due to weather conditions.

Have rewarded self for finishing list with a lovely hot bath with bath bomb and will now treat myself to a HHK (Knitting *g*) before thinking about putting dinner together and emptying DW.
