Even picked up clothes from bathroom floor and put in laundry bag whilst sitting on the toilet! :rotfl:I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

ThanksI was just lucky and stumbled on the combination that would work for me.
serena - when you are done I have three sets here in need of hemming...... I meant to take them to my mums and borrow her machine but I forgot.
I just forgot to put any water in the cabbage I was steaming. That'll be a very burnt pan yet again then.

He quoted £240 for 2 roller black out blinds and 1 vertical blind for windows measuring 180cm across does anyone have any idea if this is a good price?
Did you try to negotiate?
DS has promised he will cycle up to the bottle bank in the morning for me.
Good luck with that all the banks near here are chocker!
Managed everything bar the flying today and really CBA'd now.
Off to cook dinner now, with everybody here it does seem like a constant round of meals and clearing up from meals. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
ajmoney I will join you again at 5.30pm. Sounds like your studying is going in the right direction even if you don't feel that you've accomplished much. What are you studying at the moment?
I am studying for a Masters in music, my dissertation is due in the middle of May and a recital in 2 weeks. I am trying to split the time between practising and writing my programme notes. Problem is I have a deadline to meet at wrok 10 days later so am trying to get as much done as possible before I go back to work next week.
I have been collating more info during my 30 mins off but here I go again.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Maybe we should have a flylady fitness challenge again this year... Pigpen might even bung in the odd HHE for us
. I must have lost about 3 stone last year... unfortuately I just lost the same half stone about 6 times :o so this year I need to keep it off. My ankle is still a bit feeble, but I had a decent walk on Sunday and it survived, so I should be able to manage.
First thing to do is get all the problem food out of the house and NOT by eating it... feed it to other people. And then grab a pedometer in the sales (saw them in the supermarket today)... in fact, grab two in case one breaks/gets left behind. Measure every day for a week without changing from your normal routine, and then set yourself targets to increase your step count and add in other exercise.
Drink water or tea/herbal tea. Eat lots of fruit and veg and DO NOT BUY diet books & supplements. Hex is our resident weight loss guru, so maybe she should be in charge
I would be up for this too. I did well with my sponsored slim and wouldd like to start again and lose some more.0 -
I've not caught up completely but have done quite a bit of thread!
DH went out earlier to price up a job, really hoping he gets the work. I've spent the morning working on my shop, and then had a snooze! DH has tidied up the table, and guess what! He found £100! Wow!
Anyone know where our digital camera is? I had it last night. It's so frustrating, I've spent the whole mornng lookng for it so I can list more things on ebay and etsy.
Welcome Procrastinator, Linda, Donna, Careful, Lynne, Rachel and Taffy and Galadriel and Pyskicpup and Lexielou
Quillion I hope your dh is better soon
Pigpen sorry about the murder (why do I always want to say that in a Scottish voice?)
Vanilla I hope your water is back on soon
Smartie sorry about your trip to Bath, funnily enough that’s where my parents and sister have just got back from
Hugs to all with DH problems
Nicki I hope your eye is better now
Ishtar sorry about your mum’s cat
Stefejb what a wonderful thing to do to volunteer to help homeless people
Soappie that waste of food is disgraceful
Note to self start at p.15
I've done some tidying, need to do more. Have put away dry dishes and put some dirty ones in the sink ready to wash later. Must get round to following a list again one day :rotfl:

1/2 a load of washing in the TD and the rest now hung up to air dry. Another load of washing put in the WM, so all of the white wash now done! Yay!
OH has also cleared away most of his presents, and so it's looking a bit better downstairs now. We just gave Ebony a few of the cat treats that his cousin (BIL's cat) gave him for Christmas, and he's wolfed them down! I was really surprised as he's quite fussy sometimes. Just hope they don't upset his tummy. They came with a toy ball that you put the treats in, and they play with it to get them out, so OH is just trying it out downstairs with him. I have visions of loads of them being put under the sofas, as this is Ebony's favourite place to "lose" his toys. lolEnjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
nicki I have bought myself some 70s style plates from our local charity shop and they are much smaller than our standard dinner plates. It does seem to have helped me to lose weight. And they only cost 20p each.
pigpen I missed your birthday. Very belated good wishes.
Toots Our council is closed too and our road has been closed now for 18 days! There is no one to request a gritter/snow plough. We are up to 1oC but no sign of thaw yet. It feels colder so it must be perishing where you are.
hex2 Mine are in t shirts too. I need gloves on to type! They are not normal, I have decided.
