Maybe we should have a flylady fitness challenge again this year... Pigpen might even bung in the odd HHE for us :D.

I've got half a stone to lose but the plan is to start running again in the new year and do the Manchester 10K again. I really want to beat my time from last year. As I'm finishing working at night then there will be no excuse not to go.

Maybe we should have a flylady fitness challenge again this year... Pigpen might even bung in the odd HHE for us :D. I must have lost about 3 stone last year... unfortuately I just lost the same half stone about 6 times :o so this year I need to keep it off. My ankle is still a bit feeble, but I had a decent walk on Sunday and it survived, so I should be able to manage.

First thing to do is get all the problem food out of the house and NOT by eating it... feed it to other people ;). And then grab a pedometer in the sales (saw them in the supermarket today)... in fact, grab two in case one breaks/gets left behind. Measure every day for a week without changing from your normal routine, and then set yourself targets to increase your step count and add in other exercise.

Drink water or tea/herbal tea. Eat lots of fruit and veg and DO NOT BUY diet books & supplements. Hex is our resident weight loss guru, so maybe she should be in charge :D

I'm totally up for this, did really well this year and lost half a stone. Then put it back on with interest with stress/exams etc and eating the wrong things at the wrong time!!!

Also do not buy 'diet' products, they are usually packed with sugar and crap:eek:

Well in the HHC, I was quite productive. Started by trying to rehome the presents that have been cluttering up the living room. This led to me having to clear out a drawer in the bedroom that had been dropped and disorganised weeks ago, so that I could fit my new jewellery into it. Will have to get a new jewellery box I think, cos I've got lots of little cardboard boxes that they give you in these shops, and don't know what's in them all unless I open them all up. Also need to get a silver cleaning cloth as I noticed that some of my silver jewellery has become tarnished.

Living room is looking a bit better, but still need to get OH to put all of his presents away too to complete it all.

I counted the boxes of chocolates that we'd received this Christmas, and not counting the chocolate orange that has already been decluttered, we have 16 boxes of chocolates, a big box of jelly babies, and a box of M&S fruit jelly sweets. We also have 2 boxes of shortbread biscuits and a box of Cadbury's biscuits! Think I'll be going off chocolate by Easter! lol Still, at least I won't have to buy any for quite some time, and they are always good for unexpected birthdays (new colleagues whose birthdays I don't know still) etc.

Bedroom is looking a bit tidier now too as I tidied some of that up as I put new clothes away etc.

ajmoney I will join you again at 5.30pm. Sounds like your studying is going in the right direction even if you don't feel that you've accomplished much. What are you studying at the moment? I'm going to have to start the dreaded task of my Spring planning soon too. Had the best of intentions to do some today, but it never happened in the end, and we're going to MIL's for dinner at 6.30pm and I absolutely will not do some tonight.

Hugs to all of those teachers out there who are thinking about work.
