I've moved a few more things upstairs (that's for toots' benefit :p) and made a start on supper.

It seems as if there are lots of people here who want to lose weight, so we'll have to think about how we do it. I know there are lots of people who will provide support/advice/encouragement, but does anyone have the time/energy/skills to keep records to assist with nagging?:D

I thought maybe we could have a target weight loss each (not weight, just how much people want to lose and by when), then a weekly exercise target (steps, gym sessions, cycling/running miles, swimming lengths etc) and a weekly weight-loss target. One person could collect the targets and results each week and publish a table showing how people are doing - just whether they are behind target (red) on target (orange) or ahead (green) on both weight-loss and exercise! What does anyone else think?

smartie - anyone who wants to stay fit or gain weight is welcome to join in too ;)

ETA - well done soappie - let me know when you want a critical editorial eye cast over it ;):p:D I have two or three papers due for publication this month and haven't really made a start on any of them :o

Off to have supper and give myself a pedicure while watching a DVD

    Evening all

Levels 1 & 3 done from today's list. I haven't done the stairs yet though so I'll claim my star tomorrow! I've also sorted through another cupboard in the kitchen and made room for more stuff. And I've sorted the Christmas decorations box - I haven't taken anything down yet but when I put it up I knew there was stuff that could be slung and so I've done that now and it should be quicker to put stuff away when the time comes.

Went out with DD2 today and got some Christmas cards and paper for next year reduced. Also some slippers for DH ( wonder whether I'll be able to chuck out his old favourites?) We went to the garden centre too and got some dog food and had lunch out. DH was back at work today and it was nice to get out of the house for a couple of hours, he never wants to go anywhere.

Now he's gone back to his dog-sitting duties and I'm going to catch up on here for a while and then watch an Inspector Alleyn mystery that I taped was I was out, in anticipation of there being absolutely nothing on television again tonight.

    Hope all are well.,

 Aaarghh I can't take anymore. I feel like I am looking for a needle in a haystack with this work at the mo. Maybe I would get more done if I took a break but I really want to make some headway with it.

    Soappie - well done!

Going to get DS3 to bed now as we are off to FiL tomorrow - 3 hour drive either way (fun!) so I don't want him grouchy.
