well when I had my 'revelation' my old (bought in a sale and used daily); cutlery got taken to work for the cutlery drawer there and I now use, daily, the cutlery received as a wedding gift (1st wedding!) which was saved for 'Sunday best'
I now do not have BEST anything
    life's too short (IMO)

Agreed! We use denby (wedding present) as everyday as we decided to only get one set of stuff, same with the cutlery :)

Oh pants, I knew I was meant to do something tonight - it was make more white choc fudge to take to family. Oh well, I bought the stuff, I will have to take it with me and make at my mum's!

I might just consider the email campaign. And I'd love the book - not sure if you have my home address - I'll PM you.

Let us know when the campaign is set up... if anyone can get it going, you can!

soappie - that story in the echo is outrageous. I know the people that volunteer at one of the homeless drop ins, they would have been so grateful for them! Grrrr.:mad::mad::mad:

greenbee/soappie - I'll be next on the list for that book if that's ok... :)

Well we wouldn't want to waste it :p:D so of course you can have it when soappie has finished with it!

I haven't managed to have a bath this evening after all, as I've been faffing about.

    Off to bed now...

ETA - must gut the house tomorrow... need to locate the safe key that I put somewhere clever before my last trip...

toochoosey, if you are in any way concerned ask them to meet you somewhere but don't go alone. I always make sure (if it is someone I have not met before) that my partner will be in. Keeping yourself safe is number one priority.

As for where in Wales, they didn't say & I've seen the forecast.....hmmmm....might be best to see if we can get the old one in the garage so we don't get left without one.
One day I might be more organised...........
