I have a dilemma now........KH-Ex has decided that maybe I can bring DD down here next week for a couple of days:cool:.....only problem is.......train for me there and back and her and me there and back is coming to £80:eek::mad:

Whereas the following weekend its only gonna be around £30 if I book now......I kinda feel after all the shouting I did that I should go this weekend, but ..........

    HELP!

Then if KH wants to see DD at that precise time, you suggest he comes and collects her - that way HE pays the train fare :D

Failing that, tell him you'll do a COD deal - he gives you the cash for the train fair on delivery of your DD into his welcoming arms :D

he just wants to be childfree form new year.. tell him you'll go the week after.. you can't get train tickets/time off/made plans/leg fallen off and being attached week after... or just no should suffice.

What age is she? Not told enough to travel unaccompanied?

That I think though is playing into his hands....I was ranting last night cos he said he wasnt gonna let her come down...he had taken time off work to be with her and had made plans etc
Like I wouldnt want to see her over Xmas:rolleyes::mad:

She is 8 and she would HATE to travel on her own ( ever probably:rolleyes:)...she is a strange child:rotfl:
I will think on it overnight and see what he says.....I doubt he will give me Parent of the Year Award though:cool:
