I have a dilemma now........KH-Ex has decided that maybe I can bring DD down here next week for a couple of days:cool:.....only problem is.......train for me there and back and her and me there and back is coming to £80:eek::mad:

Whereas the following weekend its only gonna be around £30 if I book now......I kinda feel after all the shouting I did that I should go this weekend, but ..........

    HELP!

Jinks Have you asked DD what she wants to do? Is the following weekend going to interfere with or make her too tired for School......I think on this occasion personally I would go with this week....in case he changes his mind....I know it's a huge difference in cost, but maybe worth it this time. I only know vaguely your circumstances but is there any chance she will come & live with you........I think you said it was more difficult with DS because of exams but at 8 perhaps worth thinking about? I know you won't take this personally if you think I'm talking !!!!......but you did ask :p love you really xx

  • Sorry I've not caught up, I'm a feeling a bit better and have been working this evening. Have also had a bath which is great, and DH rubbed some lotion on my itchy itchy dry back - such a relief not to itch!

I'm so pleased I cleaned the bathroom thoroughly before we left, it was great coming home to a sparkling bathroom. Going to be working on the rest of the place this week, and DH has promised to help tackle moldy bits.

I've folded up and put away most of the washing we did while away, it's so nice to be all caught up and not have any washing to do.

Night night everyone, I promise to catch up in the morning. DH has to go out and price up a potential job (praying he gets it) so I can have the computer most of the morning!
