I can see Hartside from my house. It is closed right now but I saw a few sets of head lights going over last night, sneaking past the road closed signs.

Ugh, why am I always sickly new years eve? Still, I realise is only minor to have cold and upset stomach/stomach pains.

Just slept 2 1/2 hours and so didn't clear rest of floordrobe.

We have decluttered the living room today, well as much can be done until the tree goes down, we will be finishing it on Sunday. There are no children so it looks like they will be my jobs too, lets see how I have done.

Vacuum visible floors!

Vacuum under furniture you can safely move!
Vacuum hallway and right up the stairs

Wipe sticky marks from sofas and paintwork

Strip, wash and replace the bedding!

Stash away all the christmas paper, presents etc for next year
Vacuum the floors
Level Three
Polish mirrors and windows

2. dust and deweb
3. [STRIKE]Straighten the linen/towel cupboard[/STRIKE] It is already straightened

Thursday ~ Childrens rooms and the bathroom!
Level One..
Childrens jobs: [STRIKE]Collect ALL the dirty laundry from your bedroom and put it in the wash basket![/STRIKE]
Parent jobs (includes daddy too!): Clear and mop the bathroom floor
[STRIKE]Throw away all the empties and put the new toiletries in the bathroom in the correct places!

Childrens jobs: [STRIKE]fill a binbag with rubbish, or stuff that is no longer used for charity shop/bin[/STRIKE]
Parents jobs: Clean the loo and the bath and the shower and the basins and the bidet and the tiles!

Childrens jobs: Vacuum the floor
Parents jobs: [STRIKE]Empty bins etc from upstairs[/STRIKE]

1. Wash any windows in these rooms that need it

3. HHI.. or more for those trying to complete the challenge!

I didn't sign up for the ironing challenge as I am normally good at keeping in top of it. I now have a basket full and I CBA...maybe I will try in a bit.

Wednesday and Thursday all done:D

cue PS3 and Wii marathon for tonight!!

My house is so tidy......I forgot how good it feels to have a few hours to compliment myself and the kids on a good job!!
All drinks and nibbles are in, and i am going to make the kids cocktails with umbrellas and sparkly bits to bring in the new year:D

the oven will be going on at about 8pm for the pastry nibbles and goujons
I dont even have to worry about it smoking and setting off the fire alarms!!:D

TOOTS MY LOVELY - I STILL HAVE NO IRONING!!!!! So can you add me pretty please?
Can I also have another star as have finished the bathroom aswell - ok I lie, DH finished it for me!!!
Going to my sisters tonight, as she's on her own with the little ones (well they are 11 and 12 so not so little now!).
LL - you know we are all here for you and will help in any way we can. Hugs my lovely xx
