  • Hi all.. I've been a stranger this week, this is the first time I've been here since Christmas Eve I think!! And it shows!! The house is a disaster zone! This weekend it's going to get tackled in a big way.
We've been out and about visiting relatives all over the place, it's been lovely not having to work between Christmas and new year. We're off out in fancy dress later, the town we live near has a big new year event, usually it's rainy so have stayed in but not this year! I've spent the last couple of evenings making my fancy dress and I need to be able to wear it after all the effort!

Happy New Year to you all in case I don't make it back later, wishing you all much happiness and health for 2010...

See you all next year !! xx

LL (feel free to shoot me down in flames) but can Macmillan or someone give KH some counselling or tell him where to go?...maybe he's angry and taking it out on you.

You are in my thoughts and prayers (not that it helps but you are x)

KH is what you call them when you're mad - Soappie's definition was most erudite but failing that H is for head and K is a silent letter word that rhymes with job. HTH ;)

    IRONING DONE:T:T:T

Erm... given that your ironing is usually done within about 3 minutes of being dry, why exactly do you think that this is exciting

L-L - Valli's idea sounds a good one. Hope you can find someone to give you both the help and support you need.

Parcel wrapped and all post office stuff in a bag. It's getting dark outside, but I'm vaguely thinking of heading up there to get rid of it...

Just thought I'd pop in and say I once had to do a traffic survey on hardknot - sat near the roman fort and we had to laugh at the one who tried to tow a boat over:rotfl:

Couldn't decide whether to count the vehicle as going there, back or both. Lived in Thornhill and Seascale by the way before my defection to the east coast.

On a flying front -the bed has been stripped and mattress turned, fresh bedding put back on. Other than that have ben out looking at new laptops but OH has decided to stick with the one he has tough he may upgrade to windows 7.

Hugs to all especially LadyL and Toots, but theres some spare for anyone who feels the need.

Well I went upstairs earlier to do the ironing and got as far as......................

My bedroom, my book, my lubbly comfy bed and a snoozette for about 2 and a half hours:o:p:p:p:p:p

Just decluttered a smoked salmon sandwich, a bag of crisps and far to many chocolates!:p:p:p:p:D:D:D:D:D

Off to sort out more washing and start the ironing.

I can't believe you were eligible. You and TAG should have been barred :p:p

I've just realised that by the time I locate my walking boots (still somewhere in the car) the post office will be closed. So I'll aim to have my thank you letters written by Saturday morning and go then (and to the butcher).

Need to sort out what's happening for my birthday... why do people think that they don't need to commit in advance...:confused:
