Happy birthday little toochoosey!
Poohbear we've driven Kirkstone pass & Hardknott pass, well OK DP has because I was too scared, we've just got the Landy when we did Hardknott....wonderful but wow scary. I am unsure if he'd do Hardknott again, we went that way to get to the railway there was a little piece where the Landy was too long to go round the corner without a 3 point turn & the drop was rather large. We came back to Pooley the long way as it was late & DP was shatttered. He had a pee on that road as was no cars then a Micra appeared, I laughed so much, we'd not seen anyone for ages! I have some photos somewhere. I'd prefer a Defender like Hex's in snow but wanted the 7 seats/comfort/space of the Discovery. Pooley is pretty, I love it, we might end up there again next year as DS2 loved that site.
Ironing done
Bills that will incur charges or interest, done
Bog cleaned
WM, DW & TD on
Kitchen is a tip again
Still no bin collection grr
Snowing again double grrrOne day I might be more organised...........

Glad it's not an 'empty washbasket challenge' - I'd have no chance. Mine were empty for a short while this morning, but have a few items in again already. I'm NOT going to wash these because I'd then have to dry and iron them, too... DS1's bedding is in the WM machine at the moment, and only towels to come.
Lunch (and dessert) eaten, DS2 fed - no escaping now, once I've hoovered the crisp crumbs off the floor. I'll start with a HHI, to see how I get on.0 -
Phew .......... been non stop
Have done the shower room and bathroom. Daughters room all done but son is in work and I dont intend entering his room  He did bring all his dirty clothes down the day before yesterday so maybe its not too bad but I dont intend finding out :rotfl:

Hope you all have a fantastic New Year and send hugs to all of you now in case I am not able to get back here later. Am out tonight with friend, DD and her BF and am looking forward to it - oh that reminds me while writing this Carlsberggal, glad your DD's BF is sorting that out for you and so he should.

Teens now well and truly awake. I didn't get to cook so DD has been assigned lunch duty, she is currently making some sort of pasta. OK with me. I have bad cystitis (sp) OH has gone up the road to replenish stocks of cranberry. I am in agony. Can't decide if moving makes it better or worse.
DD has changed her bedding and put clothes in wash bin. (well on floor next to wash bin.)
DS has done same. Neither has any inclindation to hoover but I'll forgive them as it was done in the last 7 days or so (can't remember exactly but hey ho.) I have said I want it done before Monday.
I will look at the bathroom again once they're finished. Hate doing the floor but it needs it.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

Lil_me I love those passes. We have been over in the winter as we tend to visit the area when it is quiet.(Not in snow) I used to drive a Defender and a Disco. I am jealous of both you and Hex. The Pooley site is a favourite of a lot of our family
All missing people are now present and correct. I should be charging to loan out my sledges and shovels too

Well, there were times today when I didn't think I would make any progress with the kids' rooms - them being typical 14 and 15 year olds
BUT, with the promise of going into town for them to spend their Christmas vouchers ONCE IT WAS DONE.......we have managed, between us, to do a reasonable job - windows and all
I am very pleased - my house is so much better than it was before, and I feel reasonably optimistic that I can keep on top of it when I go back to work next week. The only windows that have not been done are the ones behind the Christmas tree, and I will do those at the weekend when the decs come down - apart from that, every window has been cleaned for the first time in I don't know how long, and that on its own makes the place much brighter!
Another bag of rubbish leaves the house for ever and a small bag of car boot stuff from DS room is packed up and ready to go.
So, please can I have a star toots?
Happy New Year everyone and thank you for your help x

Suffering from a sever attack of CBA... Don't want to go to the post office. Everything is ready to go apart from my mum's stepmother's present. I've found some candles that have been in my present drawer for years
(Jo... your christmas card is in this batch - meant to send it before christmas but left it behind in my rush to leave during the snow!)
Better get the wrapping done...0
