  • Finally after weeks of saying it I have listed some items on ebay, only a few things that I had lying around, I hope to have a proper rummage at the weekend to see what else I have got and get it banged on!

Picked up another shift at work which is an extra 4 hours and I have made a PAD of £10 to VERY so balance is now £242.59, I calculated the balance wrong yesterday but did realise that if I pay £8.71 a day then it will be gone by the end of June which is exciting!

Its a quickie tonight has very tired and gotta be up early in the morning but will write again tommorow xxxx

Hey MT, Just ducking in to say hey and that I am following your diary. You've made me smile reading your PAD dedication - that was just like what I was like. I had a massive load of debt - mainly from uni - things were completely out of control for a while - but I got back on track and managed to pay about £20 000 off. Ive been in the black for nearly a year now - and I'm in the process of saving money and trying to repair my credit rating which is in tatters really. I hope you read this and realise that all your hard work IS worth it and in the not too distant future you are going to look back and be really proud of yourself.

    Well done darlin, Ped. x
  • Thanks so much for the message Ped, and well done on paying off all your debts, I bet its amazing! Well I updated my signature yesterday as all the debts I have listed include mine and OH's combined debt, so I highlighted my debts in pink and his in blue, and anything that was joint I have kinda mixed and matched. I have worked out today that I personally have 1238.56 debt left :-D although thats not including our joint loan which Im guessing has around 9000 left - booooo, but still were on the right track! OH hasn't had a LBM yet, he's had a couple of flickers but nothing serious, however once I have cleared VERY and Barclays, I plan to make a start on his debts, starting with his credit card. I really wanna get my 2 and half the CC done before Sept as I am taking a work break then for uni as I have to go on placement so trying to get outgoings down to a minimum - wish me luck!

Anyways im off to make a cuppa, may be back soon xxxx

PS, £10 Paid to VERY today :-D xxxx

  • Hey MT

Noticed your diary and thought I'd pop in and say hi. Even though you didn't come on for a few months you should be happy that nothing extra built up - when I'm not on MSE I'm exactly the same. I have to get obsessed with it to keep on track.

    Good luck with clearing VERY.

  • Morning all, just checked my ebay items and still no watchers on anything :-( Also made another PAD to VERY taking the balance down to £217.70 :T if I can continue making these £10 payments then it will be gone by the end of June, it's so exciting!

I am ashamed to say that I dont know what dates bills come out and payments have to be paid, so this month I have been checking online banking every day and have been writing down all my outgoings, so I will have the list to refer to in future months, this will also help me to do a new SOA as i'm really over due one!

Weather here is terrible today so gonna spend the day in revising for my exam next week :)

    Speak to you soon xxxx
