Hi when you pad does it have to be a min amount online to cc,s through bank?0
-
Hiya, not sure how it works with cc's and stuff (prob best asking on the payment a day thread) however with the catalogue, I just log onto my account and type how much I wanna pay, as long as I pay the minimum amount before said date each month I can pay as much or as little as I like each day if that makes sense? xx:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Well im a little annoyed today as I opened a letter addressed to my OH (he works away so I do this to ensure nothing important is missed) and he's had a red letter from halifax stating that he's 119 into an overranged overdraft :O
I am so irratated by him sometimes as this is the only account he is responsible for, i do everything else!
Anyway rant over....:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Very / Halifax Loan/ A&L / Virgin cc / Lloyds / Sister :eek::smileyheaGetting Married 04.12.10 - The MSE way :smileyhea:dance: Making this house a home :dance:0 -
Hiya everyone, paid another £5 off VERY today, balance is now £490 - spent loads of money this week as its my first week back and i have bought a dinner every day - woops, i need to nip this in the but straight away, ive drawn a tenner out for the past three days with nothing (except a full belly) to show for it!
Also yesterday I paid some money off the credit card, had an impulse PAD than and for some reason I paid double the minimum payment. I think im going through a phase at the moment, where I would rather eat beans and toast for the next 6 months if it means me getting out of debt any quicker! im just chucking every last bit of money into debts! if it is not official payments then it is 2 pound coins in the sealed jar, or loose change in the copper jar! Just want rid of the debt - pleeeeaaassseeeXXX

Well today I have been at work, managed to bag some overtime for tommorow and also in a couple of weeks, which is always greatly received
paid £8 off VERY today, taking the balance down to £480, someone kindly calculated the interest for me and once it has been added on it should still be under £500
Received a letter from Halifax today regarding our council tax, as we received a letter from the council stating that Decembers payment didnt go through despite us receiving a receipt for this. Halifax looked into this and have said they authorised the transaction however the council didnt take the money - long story short, i now have to find £120 to pay the council for Decembers payment, which i thought I had already paid and havent budgeted for - boooo why does something ALWAYS crop up - its really winding me up nowxxx

Oh Moneytroubles, don't let this blip get you down - sadly there's always going to be the odd unexpected bill we haven't budgeted for !:( Instead think of all the positive things you have achieved so far. :T Personally I think so long as the debt figure hasn't increased at the end of the month - I'm doing well!!Proud to be dealing with my debts,light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120

Thanks for the reply
it just seems things come up all the time though,last month it was the car, which resulted in a £416 bill although we were allowed to split this over two payments, but then I guess your right at least everythings getting paid, this time last year I had DD bouncing, unauthorised overdrafts, arrears in bills, letters through the door, phone constantly ringing so yeah it could be alot worse
xx
