Hiya,
Well its been so long since I lasted posted that I can't even find my diary amongst all you dedicated debt busters... so a brief introduction into myself...
I had my LBM in Aug 09, was doing really well, was upto date with everything and even opened a savings account, and then my comp broke and I didnt access this site for a short while, although long enough to incur some arrears and slip into old habits
Got a new laptop and came back to my trusty martin and his lovely friends for the motivation and encouragement I needed, however its been a bit rocky with christmas and all, and I havent posted on here as much as should but now I am back with a vengeance.
I need to be debt free!!! so you can see my mountain of debt in my signature
Its not all mine, some is also my OH but we have joint finances so are working through this together!
Those who followed my previous diary will know my main enemy is the very catalogue with their outrageous APR - balance on this is currently £690 and I am aiming to get this down ASAP other targets are nationwide overdraft which is £290, Videographer £200 and Hitachi Capital which i need to check the balance but I am sure is around £100 once these are dealt with i will concentrate on some of the others!!
Anyway thanks for reading xxx

Hi there Moneytroubles! Good luck and I hope you do really well in 2010. I too have started a diary today for 2010 so perhaps we can support each other. I too have a couple of debts with high APRs which need to go including Argos. x0

Hi moneytroubles, yes moving house is high on my agenda too and I know I would not get a mortgage with my credit rating now. I do have a mortgage now but don't want to stay in the house we are in. I know they are building new houses in about a year exactly where we want to live so I need to sort things for then. Storecards and catalogues are lethal, I cannot be trusted. Looking forward to catching up soon. x0

I hope i do too - grrrrrr
Also I rang Nationwide up recently to arrange to pay a late payment, and the woman on the phone asked me if i could just pay off the balance as "it wasn't much at all" how rude!
It was 2 weeks before Christmas so i was like erm no - but i thought she was really cheeky for asking - or is that just me?
My main priority at the moment is getting upto date with mortgage as fell behind on payments due to stupid student finance not sorting my money out (i left full time work to go to uni in october!) Hope to sort this in Jan... but again such a HUGE step back to working my way up the property ladder - booooo
Anyway best go as at work in the morning but will post again tommorow!!
Thanks for reading
