My Soddin BB is down again, So here goes, Yet another phone call, this time I am taking no prisoners. And yes I am cancelling contract, As i believe BT are in breach of their side of it by not providing a service.

I have truly had it up to my back teeth now. This is beyond a joke.

Morning peeps,

Lets see what today brings shall we. An engineer was supposed to be going down to exchange last night to see what was going on down there. They said they would ring me this morning as I had to go to work last night. But if they did go down they have not managed to get it working. So looks like I will be without again for the weekend.

I am actually now at the point of seeing how far this will go.

Had a call from tech services. the engineer is down at the exchange.

I have been asked to reset the Hub. Said done. Orange light still on.

wont even connect with ethernet cable.

Tech guy said I should get a call from engineer by the end of the day as he may need to come to house. The neighbours really are going to start talking, if they have'nt already. A steady stream of men in my house is not going to go un noticed where I live.

I did try and explain that I am going out at 2.30pm and would be away for the night. So he would have to come here before then.

The reply was ok madam, so then we will arrange an appointment for when the engineer can attend. so he will ring you by the end of today or in the morning.

!!!!!!, I AM GOING OUT AND WILL NOT BE BACK UNTIL TOMORROW. What are you trying to do BT, ruin another weekend for me.

I am going to a dinner tonight and it is one night I will not be missing. Not for anyone. I have missed my appoinment for hair doing this morning because I have sat waiting for you to ring. Thanks a lot.

So, I have informed BT I will not be in for phone call after 2.30pm and I wont be back until tomorrow afternoon. then I am working at another army base next week. Which means it will have to be weekend again when I can get engineer to my house.

BT, you are taking the preverbial now.

Hope you don't mind me posting here, but I too am at my wits end with BT Broadband. One of our sub account email addresses has been "hijacked" - well, as it would now appear, basically given to another BT customer due to a fault on the BT server. This has been going on for about a month now with daily calls to Technical Services who have said today they cannot help us any further - aaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhh.

This means that another customer is now receiving all our emails to that particular address, which we have stressed to BT compromises our security. We really are getting paranoid and losing sleep over this matter.

If I go into more detail it could take up all the thread, but sufficie to say I have kept a log of all calls made to BT.

I noticed an email address for Ian Livingston on here, but have just sent an email and had a failure notice.

If anyone has a current email address for anyone in authority at BT or if anyone out there can give us any help to resolve this matter it would be greatly appreciated.

We really would like to be able to sleep easy at night again. Many thanks in advance.

Morning Peeps, another new day dawns, Had a brilliant night last night. About to set off for home. And will see if I have any pretty blue lights on my hub to make me really happy. I wonder who I will speak to today. I feel as though I am becoming part of a family now. I speak to Bt more than I speak to my parents.

Aww, thanks SBB, it's nice to know somebody cares. :beer:

I hope you get your problem resolved soon - but I know only too well how these things drag on with BT.

I, too give them a daily call, just to keep the log going !
