:xmastree:Hope you've all had a lovely Christmas :snow_laug:rudolf:
I see that some posters have had their decs up before November was out
When do they come down; anyone taken them down already

:xmassmile :santa2: Mine will come down on 12th Night in January.

I thought about it this morning but i know i would be 'shot down' by my family if i did.
I usually wait until new years day so i can have a fresh new start..ie clean house (but if i can get away with taking down earlier then i will0 -

your supposed to leave up till the epithany ie 6th jan but as thats my daughters birthday we always take down around new year..depends when we off it could be new years eve, day or day after but always before the 6th so we can hang birthdy decs up and she know its her special day ..Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
Are thinking of you today.0 -
I would like mine down now tbh but the family want them left. They will definitely come down on Jan 2nd if I don't get them down before.Herman - MP for all!

Agree with Kippers, for DD's sake, will stretch it a bit but New Year's Day definitely. (as soon as I get up!). Can't wait!
Love to get rid of it all and get back to a sense of airy spaciousness, without all that stuff cluttering up the place!!
Will also aiming to prune the decs collection slightly again via freecycle and get the rest all boxed up and ready to go back in the loft asap
:D:D

this is driving me nuts0 -
I think I will take mine down tomorrow, my livingroom is so small and my tree takes up half of it lol.
I dont have kids so no one to moan really, plus I got new games for my wii
and need the space to try them outGot Married 16/09/11 :j0 -
I "downsized" decorations this year, only puting up a small twinkly tree, a musical Xmas carousel, cards and lighting along my mantlepiece. Much better - not cluttered. I have family visiting on New Year's day so will remove them on January 2nd." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

ssshhhh dont tell anyone but I didnt put any up
I went away christmas eve morning and got back just now so it seemed a bit pointless.
The few cards I put up (most went on a pile in the kitchen) I will take down today and make some tags out of then its all over for another year:j
Its been an odd year and normally I love my decs (im usually putting up 1st of Dec too) but didnt feel like it much this year.
On the other hand I really enjoyed the beautiful tree and decorations at my friends house so not 100% bah humbug promise:D
The bonus is i dont have the dreaded loft trip to face when they come down:rotfl:0
