  • Morning all.
DD1 and baby just left leaving a trail of destruction everywhere.
Not all their fault - family left about half eleven last night and every room is in a right mess.
Going to shower and get tidying.
Nothing else planned today although walk round to a friend's for a drink tonight.

Am I mean if I don't allow foreign bidders on my stuff on ebay? I've said Southern Ireland and Channel Islands as they're close but I don't want anyone else to bid cos it annoys me having to sort extra for them when I shouldn't have to....I put my specs UK only and I mean it (except Eire and Channel Islands, they're practically UK anyway)

Morning everyone, need to hit the shop to get a diary and stuffs (and somehow I've managed to lose 2kg by doing nothing!)

Pooky, I go on the 4th, come back on the 8th. Your presents sound perfect, so much more useful than a load of tat!

Elfen, a lot of UK sellers don't allow foreign bidders, some countries are notorious for lost parcels and scams. Be careful with SI and the channel islands though, postage is more for those places so you'll still have to go get them weighed. But you'll have to go to the post office to get your certificates of posting for everything anyway.

I'm back from the sales, town was quiet. Even M&S and next weren't too busy. I got my hat, some pj bottoms for Venice (I've got loooooads of old t shirts I can wear with them) and a couple of bits of jewellery. So I'm done now! So apart from falling over on the pavement outside my flat it was all pretty painless. I wanted to have a look in Boots to see if they had anything good I could get with my points but couldn't be bothered waiting.

I'm going to have to go back in a couple of days though for M&S party for a tenner stuff, there's enough food in it to feed me for at least 3 days, and a nice bottle of wine. Depending on the dates I might even get two so I've got some nice easy to cook stuff for when I get back from Venice.

Yep, it's a nice woolly cloche hat type thing, should be nice and warm! and if I get too cold I'll just pop into a cafe/bar and have a cafe con grappa/amaretto.

Although if you use words that are longer than 4 letters they might not understand them!

Right, I'm going to get something to eat, and curl up with juice and a book, try and shift this cold.
