gazpacho - The tutorials are really good and I would say they are well worth the money as they will save you lots of time and error. :D

Think I will do the "buy three get BABY TOPPER free". Besides the MUM TO BE I will probably go for BEAR HUGS. Any recommendations ???. Anyone know if the DADDY'S GIRL tutorial includes the male figure too ?

Awww thankyou :o I can be a bit OCD when doing cakes! I'm never happy with them and tend to only notice the faults. As my hubby says "I'm my own worst critic" ;)

Well I will be attempting to make the "baby topper" today following the tutorial I bought:eek: It's a cake which will be a gift from us for a couple who have just had a baby boy a few days ago. I'll put pics up as soon as it's finished:D

Finally got round to doing my Level 2 food safety (catering) to comply with the regs. Did it through virtual college via Quidco as recommended by environmental health which works out at £25 once I get the cashback. The course was fairly well laid and and easy to follow but a bit dumbed down and seemed to amiss a couple of things. The site reckons 2-3 hours to complete and lets you have 5 attempts at the test to get a 75% pass mark although I completely the lot in a little over an hour once I'd turned the really irritating and very distracting voice over off since it simply repeated what was on the screen word for word.

Going to my first market in person this weekend armed with a vast array of stuff in the hoes of figuring out what sells.

Wish I could have done mine that way, my EHO insisted that I do mine in person, £60 later!! Not impressed and not sure I gained much more from it.

Was going t post on here about what records people keep as my EHO just said to basically keep a diary but didn't mention fridge checks or anything and not sure whether I should be doing this on a daily basis or whether I do it when I cook. Would love some advice on this as doing first official baking next week, everything else has been practising or for friends. Got an article going in local paper next week and had photographer out today to take pics, its all systems go and I am very excited but do have moments when I think what am I doing!!
