Am hoping to get things sorted myself long before christmas as dd3 on her way mid nov so dont want to be shopping last minute with her and DS in tow. Got a large suitcase full of stuff that i have been collecting along the way. It is so heavy now that i cant move it so think i will have to get OH to move it so i can list whats in it - night time job as little eyes are around during the day!

Also need to find time to get sewing machine out to make new stocking for DD3. Not that she will have much in there as only month old by then but DD1 who will be 5 will think santa is ever so mean if she gets nothing! And yes your right sept is flying past. thought i would have more time on my hands once DD was at school but it is not turning out like that

Ben has already insisted that Holly needs a stocking even though she will be 5 going on 6 months by then. No idea what to put in it yet though! I too thought once Ben was in school Id have plenty of time to do things/craft etc but with babe only being 9 weeks its near on impossible still!

on a plus side- my little boy has his school pictures on Thursday and I will be having holly in the photos with him - his uniform is red and white and have gotten her a little white dress with red cherries on it so she will wear that and then for some relatives a nice framed photo will be their Xmas present form us. x
    Time to find me again

It sounds to me like you have the start of an after-dinner hamper there! I did one a couple of years ago and I put in coffee, after dinner mints, a box of biscuits (always on offer closer to Christmas or you could probably get some in poundland), a bottle of port and some snowman soup for the children.

My LO was only five weeks old last Christmas so we just got him a 'First Christmas' teddy, some clothes and a couple of teether type toys. Are you on facebook? If so I recommend liking Nuby UK as they often have giveaway offers. I've had two lots of teethers free from there in the last month!

I know how you feel Wendy, keep looking at my spreadsheet every day wanting to get more things sorted but I'm waiting for certain things to appear on offer (need to get alcohol for my sis and her bf) and I keep feeling like time is slipping away :( Though I have got a few bits in my tesco basket for my next delivery..

Can I be cheeky and ask how your spreadsheet is set out? :o

It's nothing particularly fancy but I have a section for each important person or group of people I need to buy for with plenty of lines to be able to make notes of ideas, a column for paid price, column with RRP (so I can see if I make any savings) and basic formula to do the calculations for me!! Will see if I can get some sort of screen shot up as it's easier to see than explain :p I have a section like the below for each person/group - such as bf, parents, sis&bf, workmates etc etc
