  • I reckon it needs something more... Sparkley bits or tissue paper or something... just dont know what?!

It needs a nice big tag hanging from the ribbon with a poem on

  • I've just purchased three Christmas cards on eBay. I found the perfect card for my niece who is due beginning of October so she'll be only a few weeks old by Christmas and it combines that she's my niece and that it's her first Christmas! It's a rare card to find 'Niece's 1st Christmas' so I snapped it up straight away and only cost me £1.25 delivered! I also bought two perfect 'Grandad' Christmas cards for my FIL and my dad from the kids. They are both different but suit each of them down to the ground, if that makes sense? People always say I'm so fussy when it comes to buying cards (for any occassion) but it has to be just the right one for them in my opinion! :) so that's three Christmas cards checked off my list! Not a lot but it's a start! :D
  • Right I really must get my butt in gear and look under my bed at what's in my boxes!!

Its September for gods sake - I'm usually finished by now for the rest of the family and just working on kids now!

  • Oh yes and one thing that I found out that really made my day is that there is a Wilkinsons opening in the Arndale centre in Manchester, which means I don't have to take 2 buses to get the one near my mums yay!
That made my day when I saw that board go up outside that empty shop unit! Currently I have to get two buses to get to my nearest too so I never go. But I work in town so that's easy! I reckon it'll be open next month - in time for Christmas.

I have been less than organised this week. Got a ton of extra hours at work so couldn't work on sock monkey's (can't work on them in the evening 'cause family is home and I don't get much warning before they walk into my room.)

I haven't bought anything because I have overspent by almost £100 this month *headdesk* thanks to getting back together with my boyfriend (believe me I'm not complaining! But I've just forked out for a £36 return from Euston to see him at the end of the month, a new railcard for £26 and topped up my Oyster £10. *wince*)

I get paid on Friday (woo!) so am planning on buying a couple of presents for Mum and Sister and my friends birthday present. Have also started weighing up ideas for both my nana's for Christmas. They're both getting towel cakes (different colours) with M&S's Magnolia range in. So I'm looking at what sort of sets I could get and split up they get different things.

Almost the end of September at that - where on earth did september go?!

I haven't done anything Christmassy for 2 whole days now, well apart from continuing knitting the blanket for my sisters christmas eve blanket. Hope I get it done on time, its supposed to finish up big enough for the 2 of them to snuggle under to watch their xmas films! (thank goodness they are still tiny!)

Finger painting some pictures to go with a poem from DS today but think that will be about my limit as I have loads of boring day to day things to do :(
  • I havent done anything for weeks however I did manage to pick up a nightie for my mam yesterday. Really need to get organised now. I think by the end of the month the girls from work will be very annoyed. They all seem to hate Christmas.
  • I know how you feel Wendy, keep looking at my spreadsheet every day wanting to get more things sorted but I'm waiting for certain things to appear on offer (need to get alcohol for my sis and her bf) and I keep feeling like time is slipping away :( Though I have got a few bits in my tesco basket for my next delivery..
  • Could anyone let me know if they see any Christmas themed PJ's for a Boy (aged 8) anywhere?

Someone said that Matalan usually have them, I don't have one close enough to keep checking, but if anyone sees that they have some in, I will have a trip down there.

    Thanks!
    Zippy x
