Hi,
I am thinking about doing a small Xmas Eve Hamper for my Kids, does anyone have any ideas where I can buy some Christmas themed Pj's for my 8 year old son? (he would need at least age 8-9)

wow chasing sunshine where do you get the time to do that with a baby!
It can be hard to squeeze it all in but fortunately for me he is happy for us to play together all day then he will go to bed at 6pm and stay there until 7am so I have my evenings to get things done. Also at lunch time he'll have his dinner and watch fireman sam for an hour so I can get things done on the laptop while he's watchingGood ole fireman sam! haha
Your blog is fine hun and you know have a follower I have just started mine but havent added it to my username yet as was like you and worried so we are 2 newbies to blogging together:D
Ah thanks hun! I need to add loads of stuff to it but its a start eh? Everyone here has amazing blogs so I was a bit embarrassed but hopefully I'll be able to add lots to it and redeem myself lol!
Not doing too bad with my to do list at the moment, my darling husband has had a look at my reindeer all bagged up and he thinks it looks nice as it is...
What do you think? (sorry thats come out huge, the insert image button never works for me and my photobucket seems to have corrupted somehow and i cant add photos to it)
I reckon it needs something more... Sparkley bits or tissue paper or something... just dont know what?!0 -
Hi. Some advice needed please. My nan passed away 4 weeks ago. Normally I give my aunt and her family a joint pressie(tin of sweets or similar). This year I'd like to do something re photos(I have 4 standard pictures of my nan),and would like to get copies of pics and display them as a gift. I didn't want to get 4 individual frames,so does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do with them?
Thanks in advance x:happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

Hi everyone,
Loving the thread ... think I need to do some serious reading of all of it!
We've started out shopping already ... made a spreadsheet last week and already need to update it, ordered a few bits, mainly from the Debenhams sale.
Have been trying to think about some ideas that our LOs (4 and 1) could give to the family from themselves, we usually do a photgift but am running out of different ideas now. Was thinking something along the lines of snowman soups as its something our 4 year old could technically go and buy in the supermarket, pick some mugs etc and wrap it herself. Does anyone have any pictures of some they have done or any other ideas similar please? Ideally something our 4 year old could do the majority herself.
Also, really love the hamper idea for the children ... think I will give that a go as think it'd really get her excited if we gave it on christmas eve.
TIA x0 -

You can buy those 'family' type frames with room for several pics that might be an idea? Also, I have a fairly large 'certificate' frame that I have 6 pics in, maybe something like that? Hope that helps, sorry to hear about your nanxx

Hi, I'm going to attempt putting together Christmas eve hampers for my three little one's this year. I've never been organised for Christmas even though every year I try to be so this year I'm starting extra early!
I've already made lots of different lists and have bought a couple of things from online deals that I've put away for presents for the kids.
So far for the Christmas eve hampers I'm going to put in:
* A new pair of PJ's
* A Christmas story book
* Hot chocolate sachet & mini marshmallows in a festive mug
* Christmas DVD
* Santa Stop Here sign
* Festive plate & reindeer food
* Toothbrush/toothpaste
* Slippers/slipper socks
* Dressing gown
* Mini tTorch
* Popcorn
* Festive bubble bath
I think that's enough but will add some biscuits/nibbles too. What do you think? I have an 8 year old daughter, 6 year old son (7 by Christmas - he was born only a week beforehand!) and a 2 year old daughter. I haven't bought any of it yet so I had bet get cracking on with it!
I'm getting excited about Christmas now! It's my favourite time of year (apart from summer of course)
