thats right hence the thread name i would rather he had someone to be there with him for some part of the day as we can not offer this now just thinking of the dog

No you're not, you're thinking about yourself and your lifestyle. Stop kidding yourself.

Because dogs have no sence of time thats how i know they cant count and i wasnt picking on you. Also i didnt say you hadnt tried to help. get over yourself and grow up.
As soon as anyone says "grow up" they lose all credibility in my eyes.

I too btw, think that eleven hours is far too long to leave a dog alone. Imagine if we were cooped up in a room for that length of time. Not able to relieve ourselves. Could we last, and if we had to do it on the floor? Oh the shame as we had been trained not to. Not to mention the fear of being told off.

With all the casual owners the poor dog has had, at sometime he's been scolded for it.

I liked Mrs Tine's suggestion of an elderly person taking care of him during the day. If I had seen an ad like that, provided I liked the dog, I would have jumped at the chance, especially if the OP mowed my lawn once a week as a thankyou.:D

Anyone appealing to the OP's better nature is I'm afraid wasting their time. The dog was a novelty for a while but now has to go.

Purchasing wii games, new car and Far Eastern Trips obviously take precedence over the care of a living creature.

Us true dog lovers who would sacrifice any of these for our pets, cannot understand anyone who wouldn't. maka, probably thinks we are wet for even considering it.

Oh maka! Yes, we are behind the safety of a computer screen to reply to you. If you can suggest another way of posting on a forum, I'd love to hear what it is, as I am as totally confused by your remark, as you must have been on making it.:rotfl:

This whole thread is rather poignant for me today, so I shall start a new thread and explain.
  • We're going round in circles here and I can't be bothered wasting any more time on you. I hope your dog finds a new home and that everything works out well in the end.

Yep great this is now the place to come to be bullied and personally attacked by people that dont even know you.

Also they can call you fat even when they cant even see you.

Its so sad that a few people abuse this site which is meant to help people.

  • Hi - Is it possible to put away around £1.30 each every day? Would then be enough to pay the £80 per month for the dog walker.

We do this through the year with £1 per day each - you don't notice that amount, only the price of a newspaper!!
