**woop woop** no shampoo but found a full bottle of leave in conditioner so will use DD's baby shampoo and make do until I need to go to shops for other things.
I am feeling very giddy about my challenge I just don't want to cave in. Going to put some of my more expensive bits in a box for my wedding and honeymoon and then I won't be tempted to think I don't have enough and will have it all together ready.0 -
[QUOTE NEEDABREAK=
I am down to two liquid soaps and in our house (2 adults , 3 kids) we do get through it so will get some if on offer etc.
Have you got any shower gel, bubble bath you're not so keen on to decant into the old containers, otherwise Boots own brand bubble baths (i like the creme ones) do the job of handwash just as well!
Ooh good idea bronnie, have some palmolive stuff that would do the job thanksfor the tip. Im using up a molton brown handwash (gorgeous gift) at the mo so will decant into that, cause im a sucker for pretty packaging.:o
NabYou laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

Right I need new shapoo- just going to check OH cupboard to make sure he's not hiding any first. Will have to go to Morisons because snow is too bad for the car- has anyone tried their own brand? x
Hello KK,
I read on another thread that their own brand organic shampoo is excellent. I am itching to try it myself but I have at least 20 existing bottles to get through first:mad:
If you do try it will you let me know what you think?0 -

Oh dear, I have got too much to list tbh.:o
I have just finished John Frieda Sheer blonde moisturising shampoo and
Mcadam blonde intensive conditioner. I think both of these products are excellent and the Mcadam one was £1 from Tescos a few weeks ago.
I went to use Louise Galvin Deep conditioning treatment first, but I had forgotten that I had already finished that off but not put it in the recycling.
I am sure that it is not a natural reaction to feel so panic stricken and sad that I have used up one of my favourites. Then I felt even more panic stricken when I checked my cupboard (which is like a wardrobe into Narnia) as I have about 25 various deep conditioning treatments. And I still miss Louise Galvin:o0 -

i thought i'd be moving some some on this weekend but the weather has put paid to that. there's a load of stuff ready and waiting to be re-homed on my spare bed. i'm itching to jam it back in the wardrobe because it looks so untidy. but if i do that i know it will never see the light of day again.
Hello Fizzytrinket,
did you find it hard deciding what to let go? I was fine when my beloved Mum was still alive. She used to love having my cast offs. It was a standing joke between us that my spare room was her Boots. She only used to wear lipstick in the way of make up and I don't think she had ever had to buy one since I was a teenager.(So my obsession has been going on for a good 30 years):o. I gave a lot to my sister but she is not a product junkie and it will take her ages to use everything up. I gave a lot to my friend's teenage daughters and my teenage son's girl friends. But to be honest all of that hardly dented my stash at all. What is worse is I found it so hard to decide what to part with as I wanted it all:o It's just so irrational.0 -

Koolkid, IMO you cant go wrong with any of the coconut "own brands" boots/ morrissons/ tescos - all the same IMO.
Ive just been to lidl and bought some razors as I have to do underarms. I dont shave my legs only underarms and Ive never cut my underarms ever so the cheapest single blade will do for the job 66p for 10- not bad.
Must update my total in sig :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Thanks hun will definitely try it and report back. Desicided that I won't spend more than £1.50 on a shampoo unless is a huge bottle (this is quite shocking for me as most of last year there was upto 3 bottles of Bumble and Bumble in my shower)! However I did discover the £1 Charles Worthington and I am looking forward to finding other good cheap brands!
Just had a look at my make up box. Found 2 tinted moisturisers I forgot I had- will use these rather than foundation on lazy days to conserve my foundation as it is quite expensive. Will ask OH for some for Valentines Day!
My favourite mascara is L'Oreal Telescopic- nothing compares for me but realised this was more for the wand than the actual mascara. Found a couple of unused mascaras so will dip the Telescopic wand into these rather than going out and buying another as mines ran out.
Got a full Hoola and a couple fo other bronzers I don't like as much but are percetly fine when I have my fake tan on so will use these up when I'm tanned.
Got LOADS of eyeshadows, eyeliner and lipglosses. I have 4 bottles of at least half full primers. Might need some more highlighter. I usually use benefit and really love it- might have to ask for this for Valentines day tooCould do with a new Touche Eclat soon but going to try the £1.50 Aldi one 1st- I will give a completely honest review of this once I've tried it as I've being using Touche Eclat since it came out.

TBH OH usually uses a boots on brand one and he loves it so might try and use the same as him.
I am dying to try the £1.50 highlighter pen from Aldi but it's so far to our nearest one I rarely go- I will get one when I next pass and have alook at the other goodies
