Hi all. I also got the boots promotional points leaflet, it came today. I binned it unread! I have about £10 worth of boots points and plan to use them in a couple of weeks to buy deoderant and toothpaste, when I run out. As a previous poster commented, why do we never stock up on practical stuff we use on a regular basis?
Once I use my boots points up, I will resist the urge to pop in and see how I can add to my points, double my points, get 3 4 2, etc, etc. Its like a drug!

I must admit that reading this thread has thoroughly shocked me: I thought I was bad with having a few bits and bobs that never get used but the sheer volume that some are posting has me shuddering at the thought of all that money:eek:
I
Me to as most of it I see as products being washed down the drain. Scrubs an stuff, do we really need them? Sometimes I think people in India etc don't have all this things, even going back years ago they didn't have all this? We don't need it! I am going back to my shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser and soap. As thats all I think one needs!
plus very surprised with the amount of people who buy from boots. Boots mostly are over priced to TESCO, ASDA and super drug not to mention pound land!0 -

Not if you are a Bootser! They basically pay you to take it away. That's the problem. It's like refusing free stuff.
£94 on my Boots card.
The words "I don't think I'll bother with the Boots 75% sale" have just ventured out of my mouth.
Someone get me a stiff Brandy.

Deffinately agree about the cost being really low if your a bootser, must be said that since become one i am a lot savvier getting the most out of my money etc, only ever buy with cash when there are offers plus extra points plus mocs to use lol. Just a shame i keep spending on the bargains when ive already got tons waiting for me in my stash:o.You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt. (A.C)0 -

Managed to use on of the cellulite oils up and also the T&G leave in conditioners and one of the nairs. I do hate to use the nairs as I hate to think I would ever pay full price for these ( 7.99in tescos ) and I get mine in 99p stores.
The handwash downstairs has now finished so Im going to put the HW from the bathroom and replace with soap as no one really uses the bathroom one ( seperate loo)
ETA- I will not be buying the T&G leave in cond again as it is very stripping and made hair squeaky and brittle. OH liked it though, but I didnt at all. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
hi Lynsey & trinket..
You are in a good place here.
I was an Avon sales manager 20+ years ago and am still using up the stuff!!
more toiletries discovered and none used up as yet, but have applied handcream about 8 times today so far!
Just a thought for those tried once things... colleague of mine does voluntary work in a 'People's Kitchen' a place for homeless people to have a hot meal and a shower and change of clothes .. they are always looking for toiletries as well as warm clothes so packing up a bag of the stuff i'm not likely to use, hoping somebody gets some use from it.
