I found a few more bits today. Oops. I have been having a bath every night to use up things - going down quickly!

strange question - how do people store there lush bathbombs ?? i got a couple for christmas but don't know how to keep them - i'm guessing they need to be in something better than the paper bag they came in!

inapickle - are there any MAC brushes you'd recommend in particular ? i got a £25 gift card for christmas so was thinking of some brushes instead of more eyeshadows / pigments

I bought mouthwash today (Half price) but only one bottle :j This with what I already have in the bathroom will keep us going until at least the end of the month.

I even went round Boots looking for bargains and found....nothing :D
  • Well I think I did well earlier...I saw the offer posted on here for the Body Shop sale, so went off to have a look...loads of stuff for £2 and £3 which would make great presents in an ideal world, but I know I'd end up ripping them open and using them, especially as I just love the neroli jasmin stuff... So had a look and then CLOSED the webpage...Very proud of myself... Am determined to stick to this challenge :j
    :hello:No more toiletries challenge :T

I have just come across this thread and really like it. I have so far been trying my very best. I resisted the Decleor TSV that was on QVC yesterday and have vowed not to buy any more of their beauty TSV's or products all year!! I don't know how they do it but they just draw you in!
Instead to make myself feel better I logged onto the L'occitane website and filled up my basket and then logged out before checkout -phew! But it did fulfil a purpose if you know what I mean.
Now I just have to start on Boots. I have hardly any points to use and have seen a Guerlain Idylle perfume set I would really like, I did nearly buy it before new year but when I took it to the till I told the shop assistant I wouldn't be buying that - I had changed my mind!
Just hope I can stay strong - what if they reduce the price in the sale even further!!!

Hi All, To make sure that all my ermm less valued toiletries get used up I am making a dint in those first. I can easily use my S&G and Lush stuff cos I love it, but it's the partially used Dove bodywashes (I hate the smell of Dove! :o) and random shower gels that will be more of challenge.

So.... I have decided that all week I will use up the bits of dross that I hate, and then once a week I will have a long soak and a pamper with all my preferred lotions and potions. :D

Now THAT is hardcore using-up - well done! :T

I'm SOOO near the end of my current tube of body moisturiser that I liberally slathered it all over myself when I came out of the shower, but there is STILL some left! I should use the last of it up tonight, but I'm so that's one down, and on to my half-used tub of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea moisturiser next.

I'll get there one day, honest!

Could not even begin to count my stash of stuff (including about 40 cans of gents deodorant from the last Boots glitch).

Hia HL - maybe see if there's a homeless shelter (or Salvation Army shop) near you that may welcome deodorants.

Hia Bronnie, how about using body lotion on the ends of hair? Probably not every day but maybe worth a go? Could it be used as shaving cream?

Today I used up 4 toiletries. To be fair a couple were teeny sizes.
..I now "only" have 4 moisturisers on the go. :o
...I found another shampoo in the cupboard so I have 3 shampoos on the go at the moment.
....Have 3 bare essentials mini size foundations (all small size and different colours). Have left one out to use up tomorrow.
