Seriously need to have a go at this. Could not even begin to count my stash of stuff (4 big crates full - including about 40 cans of gents deodorant from the last Boots glitch). Of course there's the S & G hatbox and the Lush stuff from the sale and all the stuff in the bathroom & shower-room. Got enough perfume to last me the next year at least - loads and loads of little miniature bottles too. Only thing I may need to buy for a long time is shampoo. Great thread. If I had known then what I know now . . .

LOL no!!!!!!
I'll wash my makeup brushes tomorrow and will secretly hope they fall to bitsI've had them for years and years and tbh if they did fall to bits I wouldn't know were to start for buying new ones... I haven't bought any for that long!!

I'm definately in on this one, I'm terrible for picking up beauty 'bargains' in the sales and using those boots mocs. I have face creams, make up, bath stuff, shampoo and conditioner, body butters, scrubs, lip balms, polishes and soap enough to last me until summer. :rotfl:Wins: 2008: £606.10 2009: £806.24 2010: £713.47 2011: 328.320

I recycled a lot of my stash into lovely xmas hampers for family & friends, I bought some cheapie baskets in the pound shop, cellophane & bows from Ebay amd I was away.
My niece was 21 this year and can only use the simple range, so I made her a beauty hamper with 21 simple items and added tweezers, eyelash curlers, toe seperators etc & bought a white towel & flannel for a £1.00 and her basket was lovely.
My sister had a time delay basket which was collected using the £5.00 off coupons from Boots & various glitches.
My auntie had a sanctuary basket which was put together using the £5.00 off coupons from Boots/various glitches & sale items that i picked up during the year.
Friends were given shower gels, soap's & body lotion wrapped in tissue paper purchased from the poundshop & presented in gift bags.
All of the above items only cost a few pounds and saved me loads of money, all the recipients loved the thought that had gone into the baskets and it reduced my "extensive stash".0 -
I've done pretty well so far - I used to have a shower gel 'display' on my windowsill (I kid you not - they were the summer range from Avon and looked so gorgeous I refused to actually use them - it drove OH up the wall!!!) and so far I have used 2 of them!!! Really proud of myself!! :rotfl:*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

Ooh, I really want to buy some MAC make-up brushes but I can't justify it at the minute. They only come out in sets at Christmas time as well.
