I've got a couple of these stashed in my toiletries bag to use up on holiday so I hope it's good!I have been very good today, resisted all offers in Tesco and Asda including the clearance shelf... but I did buy a Boots Expert Inflight pamper kit in the charity shop. It has a mirror, toothbrush, Expert whitening toothpaste, Expert sensitive day cream, Expert lip protector and Expert eye cream and a clear plastic zip bag to keep it all in... for just £2!!! It's for my mum as she never has travel sizes of anything and is always spending too much on them when she goes away. And I'm doing my bit for charity
You can definitely get let off with that one - charity donations are a good thing and if you get the advantage of a bargain out of it too, so much the better! Can I ask a stupid question? Good, here goes.......
What do you actually use a foundation brush for? I mean obviously it's for foundation but surely you don't treat it like a paint brush so how does it work?
I'm still ploughing through the make up too. I'm going to start eating my lipstick if it doesn't look like it's going to go down!
Thank you for asking this! Always nice when someone else asks a question you've been secretly wanting to know the answer to yourself!
SalesAddict - can I ask how you paid for your purchases? Debit card, or cash? Also, what was the trigger? Were all your purchases made in shops you were going into for other more mundane items or did you specifically visit shops where you knew you might be tempted? You NEED to sort yourself out on this one, you know that already though don't you - you need to do it quickly though before you run yourself and your family into a situation that you can't get out of. Have a dodgy :grouphug: and then maybe try to work out why it is you felt you had to buy that stuff? (Oh, and stick the ROC thing on eBay and you might make a profit!)
Finished up a Boots deodorant yesterday - a 24hr one. WIBA?, probably yes - it seems to do the job! This morning I used up the last of the Boots Smile mouthwash too - thank goodness! WIBA? not personally, I don't really use the stuff, goodness knows why I had it in the first place! It seems OK though and was IIRC a good price.
Handcreams - my three favourites are Avon's Glycerine hand cream (the one they usually do around Christmas time but probably the same as the current Rich Moisture one, when something a bit more heavy duty is needed I use Avon Dry Skin SOS which is brilliant if your skin goes very dry. For sheer luxury and a beautiful fragrance I love Crabtree & Evelyn La Source too - it's really effective as well. If anhyone is in need of buying more at the momenbt (ie - genuine need rather than just "want!" the Avon ones are on special offer at £1.50 a tube so it would be a good time to try one if you have an Avon rep locally.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
