I haven't done PYNM yet, mainly cos I have hardly any nail varnish, it just doesn't excite me really (am I weird?)! And anytime I do paint them it chips really quickly. I have nice nails though. :) Must rub some almond oil into them every Monday, mmm.

Having a bad day at work and I've started browsing various cosmetic websites - I really shouldn't do this so I came on here! (don't worry haven't bought anything!)

Me too. I like to know what I'm missing then look at my stash and think maybe in 3 years I can buy that body butter:rotfl::rotfl:. Knowing my luck it'll be discontinued. One of the Lush soaps I'm using, the olive oil one they stopped making.:rotfl::eek::rotfl:

My OH is aghast at the amount of toiletries I have and he hasn't even seen it all! :o

I can't believe your friend - well actually I can. I take it you live in Ireland? We Irish/N. Irish tend to be allergic to a bargain and don't mind being ripped off at every turn! All of my friends, colleagues and relatives are like this. I've given up.

Aha, more Irish! I'm Irish, but i love a good bargain :) (Live in England though, so i might have picked it up since moving here...)

    Right, confession time :embarasse...
I took a little wander at lunchtime and bought Castor Oil (£1.13) and Jojoba Oil (£10.25) for OCM. Ooops. I do have plenty of cleansers etc, but have problem skin. I'll still use my cleansers as body wash and on days i'm not using OCM (they're all pretty gentle), but I really want to try it!

£11.38 duly added to my savings pot to punish myself...:A

i havent got any topcoat or basecoat, could i maybe justify a purchase on the basis that it will help me to my quest to use up the varnishes i have???:D

I'm punishing myself with some sparkling water I brought back from a hotel last year. I'm confused as I drink it, keep expecting a lemonade taste but it never comes. :rotfl:
    Strange drink.

hahah that happens to me every time I drink it, so now I pop in a slice of lime or lemon, i helps but I still expect a different taste to what I get!

Finished a can of soft and gentle today, 3 more in stash though so no excuse to buy.

Went to asda today and avoided looking at anything toiletries related!

Still resisting the s&g offer :A:(
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

I noticed I didn't take my nailvarnish off properly last time, still got edges of pink, oops. :o
When I painted them green and red for Christmas, one day later the red ones were peeling off like stickers, so I took it all off and never got to show them off on the big day. :(

I went to Boots at lunchtime and couldn't resist one of the Bodyform packs with Jemma Kidd lipgloss.

    In my defence:

    I do need pantyliners
They are reduced to £1 (not as good as Boots Basics for 29p but anyway!)
I paid with points so no money changed hands!
I will sell the lipgloss on eBay
I totally ignored the S&G etc!

I actually thought 'I should spend another £4 to get a skinnie' and then realised that I didn't NEED anything else so just walked up to the till with my one little item, paid with my points and skedaddled! :D

Oooh, let me know how you get on with the jojoba oil. Where did you get it? I'm using the same method as Bronnie (sweet almond oil on its own) about 3-4 days a week and it really is lovely stuff.

Do you really find that you are more thrifty since you moved to England? I find Irish people are real big spenders and don't know the value of money, maybe it's the Celtic Tiger (which started when I was about 13), I don't know - but I find British people far more thrifty than the Irish and I am happy to say that I am unusual in my moneysaving ways!!!
