I was good Bronnie I resisted that M & S grabbit0

Am writing this with a heavy heart.............having just unearthed a Grabbit purchase from before Xmas.
Did anyone else grab those miserable , sorry, sweet little M&S 3 for less than a £5 Cotton Collection toiletries? That's 3 nondescript foam bath to use up in the shower and worse still, 3 nondescript pots of body cream.
I wish I could gift them, but this thread has made me feel uncomfortable with giving this kind of stuff as pressies as I don't really know anyone who'd want it and I suppose having to use this up ourselves is actually part of the learning/retraining curve?????
Yes I did that, but gave 2 away as stocking fillers. The one I've got left will probably go in the charity shop bag.Mortgage to clear asap! - [STRIKE]£148,874.38 [/STRIKE]as at 1 May 2013£79,176.55 May 2018£59,516.06 July 2019November 2020 £35,914.620 -

LOL! Taking the easy way I out I see!!:rotfl:0 -
There must be at least 15 bottles of cleanser lying around my house, including Lancome, Clinique, Clarins, Vichy, ROC, Time Delay, No7 + OLAY from Boots vouchers, face wipes, samples and travel sizes from the GWP (Gift with purchase) bags that I always wait for if I am buying something expensive and yet last night................I went to bed without taking my make-up off:o
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Can I ask you how people who see your bedroom react? I've had bad reactions to the amount of cosmetics I have and mine are 80% not on display. Lots are concealed in pretty storage boxes like the Soap+Glory hat box, the wardrobe and a chest of drawers. So for example if I had a plumber calling round lots of the cosmetics would be removed from the bathroom in advance:)
.....
I actually spend far less than my friend who doesn't have any stash of cosmetics in storage. She never looks for offers. When we went shoppping at Christmas she bought a No7 day cream, night cream + foundation costing around €25 each. No offers or discounts. She doesn't split her shopping into €7.50/£5 lots to avail of vouchers. I rarely pay full price for any off these items maybe just perfume because that doesn't get reduced. I assume most others on here are like me:money:
My OH is aghast at the amount of toiletries I have and he hasn't even seen it all!
I can't believe your friend - well actually I can. I take it you live in Ireland? We Irish/N. Irish tend to be allergic to a bargain and don't mind being ripped off at every turn! All of my friends, colleagues and relatives are like this. I've given up. :rolleyes:Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

I'm punishing myself with some sparkling water I brought back from a hotel last year. I'm confused as I drink it, keep expecting a lemonade taste but it never comes. :rotfl:

Never ever before showering, always after, body butter is thicker in consitency and more moisturising than normal body moisturiser. It's really good for dry skin. Body souffle is basically body butter/moisturiser too
.
Excellent idea:T
Great way to get rid of sample bottle clutter. I sometimes refill posh expensive brand bottles with cheaper stuff.
I'm going to start doing this too! :T
BTW, I always try to apply body butter to samp skin, otherwise it sort of 'pulls' my skin and feel uncomfortable, like I'm dragging it. It also goes further on damp skin, it literally glides on, lush! Even a quick 1-minute shower beforehand will do if I'm not washing my hair. I posted the Grabbit so am doubly sorry! It was on a bigger thread and someone else (mummymichelle IIRC) posted it, I just made it into a thread on its own. So yes, I bought it and gave one to my mum at Christmas, and will probably give the other two to OH's mum and my aunt for birthdays or whatever. Hope they like them! They are actually very cute and OH's mum is obsessed with having nice stuff on display in the bathroom (er, just like me).
