No buying new toiletries etc until.....

I went to Boots at lunchtime and couldn't resist one of the Bodyform packs with Jemma Kidd lipgloss.
In my defence:
I do need pantyliners
They are reduced to £1 (not as good as Boots Basics for 29p but anyway!)
I paid with points so no money changed hands!
I will sell the lipgloss on eBay
I totally ignored the S&G etc!
I actually thought 'I should spend another £4 to get a skinnie' and then realised that I didn't NEED anything else so just walked up to the till with my one little item, paid with my points and skedaddled!
I've been following this thread since it started but I've only just read a post which I though 'omg I did that too!'...therefore...
I confess, I too am a toiletries-aholic and without this support I would have bought soooooo much over the past few days and weeks! Just in lipgloss I own more than 15 and NEVER use the stuff
Would the jemma kidd lipglosses actuall sell on ebay do you think? As I may have bought three packs :rotfl:If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0 -
OK I have bought something this week and am about to order something else but hear me out. Firstly I bought a tube of L'occitane Lavender hand cream. I've had to cos my hands are so dry and sore and this is the only product I've tried that cures them. Bought it on Tuesday and my hands are already much better. I think this justifies the cost. Once my hands are ok I will go back and use up the other hand creams/lotions I have.
The Body Shop are selling their body butters at half price (the 200ml size) and I'm down to my last unopened one so am going to buy a few as I love 'em.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

OK, not that I want to drag our attention back to S&G, but Clean Mary actually has exfoliators in it so should not be used every day. The blurb says something about not using it too often as 'raw only looks good in the vegetable section' or something:
Clean Mary includes a natural, seaweed derived non-acid exfoliating complex – PORESHRINK-RS that helps reduce dead skin cell build-up (and therefore helps prevent blackheads!)
It also contains:- ANDIROBA OIL ( a rich Amazonian oil ) renowned for skin smoothing & soothing
- PANTHENOL (provitamin B5) conditions and protects the skin
- ORCHID FRUIT, VANILLA & MANGO EXTRACTS as natural, refreshing & reviving aromas
- VITAMIN E that supports the skins moisture content
How to Use
When ever you are feeling a bit dirty (minds out of the gutter, please girls. This is an unsullied milky face wash.) Rub 3 or 4 pumps of Clean Mary onto your face & neck, then massage in circles, giving large pores priority. Rinse well or wipe off with a damp cotton pad, pat dry and then apply moisturiser.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

I've put in an order on e.l.f. - I didn't know about it until someone mentioned it on here! But I really need some new brushes and makeup. I'm going to get rid of almost all of mine e.g. foundation from summer 2006 and eye shadows from about the same time - as it can't be healthy to have them that long. My worst things at hoarding are lip glosses and nail varnish, everything else is ok so not much to throw out. Will wash the brushes I have got at the weekend, chuck everything out that's ancient and then when my order arrives I'm going to set it all out nicely and use it - I feel so much better with a bit of make up on.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

I bought some Blistex lip balm today... I have the worst cracked lips at the moment and my Lush lip balm wasn't cutting it (and is almost finished anyway as I've been using it as hair gel... lol... it works better as that!)
It was only £1 from HB so I don't feel too guilty. I'm just amazed I haven't caved and ordered anything from MAC or the Body Shop in over a month!
eta: ooh, and I made a start on my MAC fluidline today as my liquidliner is almost empty. It wasn't as faffy as I though it would be and it has lasted ALL DAY (I usually have to reapply as I have very oily eyelids).0 -
Don't shout at me :A
Was in boots and got some toothpaste, 59p and 3 x wrinkle reducing night serum (rrp £6 each). The serums were reduced to £1.50 each and I used my skinnie and a 50 points when you buy any 'smile' product. So the serums were free and the toothpaste 9p.
I still didn't buy a magazine though ;):D0
