Finished up my everlasting No 7 Liplicious this morning! :j Absolutely sick of the colour. Couldn't buy it again if I wanted to - discontinued. Was going to switch to a Clinique for a change, but have now decided to use up another Liplicious in exactly the same colour - this one is only a trial size, and the last one (in this shade) that I've got. :A

going to chuck out tonight some dove summer glow and johnstons face tanning - had them for a year now and not used them so gonna just get rid
and also chucking out some suntan lotion that i've kept since getting back from hols in Sept /QUOTE]

    Poppy_f1,

Why not use your old suntan lotion as hand cream instead of throwing it away. That's what I do during the day, and then I use my proper hand cream last thing before I go to bed.
No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

go to your handbag and hide your credit cards right now. Think of the money you will save, it could go towards a giant George Clooney (or whoever) poster for above your bed

Wahey, George hanging over my bed every morning I wake up:D
I gave my last remaining cc to my dh about 2 weeks ago now.
I think that's the only thing that has kept me more or less on the straight and narrow. :o
I bet George would be very free an easy with his cc:rotfl:

I could moisturise the whole of the England rugby squad for the next season, nice thought!:p

Oooooh I think we should ask them if they'd like us all to pamper them free of charge. ;)

Does anyone else have a stash of hotel teabags and sugar, aswell as toiletries? :p Trying to get down those now too..

Yes I use the coffee, tea bags, sugar & buscuit's and buy a nice mug, pop them into a cellophane bag with a bow & ribbon.

Makes a cheap & cheerful gift.

    That's a good idea, thanks. :D
Much cheaper than those ones you can buy at Christmas with marshmallows and hot chocolate sachet for around £7.

Just like to thank everyone for their encouragement to each other. I don't get much time to post but I'm hanging in there with working my way through my reserves of goodies (some of which moved house with me 6 years ago!!).

I can't believe how good my hands are these days, I have so much hand cream/body lotion to get through I seem to be putting it on at every opportunity. I now need to start serious work on my legs so I can get them out for the summer :rotfl:

Another effect of this thread has been that I'm now looking at all the cleaning liquids etc that I have in the cupboards. So many things that I've only used once or twice and then gone back to my tried and tested items. But using them up doesn't give me the same pleasure as using good cosmetics!!

Keep up the good work :T

    X
:j Thanks to all those that post. :A

No! I make sure I drink every cup of tea and coffee, bottle of water and eat every shortbread biscuit possible, while I'm there! I usually leave the sugar, but come to think of it, could probably use it up improvising a sugar scrub for my hands , while I'm there next time!

Am writing this with a heavy heart.............having just unearthed a Grabbit purchase from before Xmas.

Did anyone else grab those miserable , sorry, sweet little M&S 3 for less than a £5 Cotton Collection toiletries? That's 3 nondescript foam bath to use up in the shower and worse still, 3 nondescript pots of body cream.

I wish I could gift them, but this thread has made me feel uncomfortable with giving this kind of stuff as pressies as I don't really know anyone who'd want it and I suppose having to use this up ourselves is actually part of the learning/retraining curve?????
