I love the smell of the Lush shops as I walk past, but I've only ever looked in there maybe 3 times and have never been tempted to buy anything - so overpriced!
Also I was shopping in Morrisons today and looked around the toiletry aisles aimlessly. (:o) I was very tempted to buy some antiperspirants on offer for 85p, 2 different brands, but I resisted. Gave the money to a charity guy at the entrance instead. :A0 -
Ok so I went to Boots clearance today
I was very impressed with my restraint. I saw a number of things, then put them back as I thought- DO I NEED THAT?! GO ME :T
feel v impresed with myself as I got
Xmas cards 50p *only one pack*
Xmas tags 20p *only one* - both needed as managed to miss all the sales on these
5x trevor sorbie smooth conditioner.
N07 glycemic peel kit ( last one) this is a present for MIl though who loves NO7 facial and fairly sure she wont have had this one so not bad for £2 ( i think this was 20rrp)
re the conditioners: the olast of the TS conditioners in there, so I cleared the last of them. At least having these will stop me tihnking about anything running out. As said we use at least one a week, so this will last us 4 weeks with one in store. Oh used up the last of the Palmolive milk & Honey this am. Also he has used up one of the curl cremes and as If by magic a new one has appeared on the shelf for him
I dont like the feeling of things running out, as I start to them thinking "what shall I buy" "whats on offer" "where can I go to buy XYZ"
I am possibly going to make use of the Timedelay voucher (not that Ive got one you understand) as Im desperate for a night creme ( might get 2 more days out of it) and try a night cream from there. Anyone ever bought NC from Time dealy ( Ive got the SPF 15 day cream which I loved)
Used up today:
Palmolive M&H conditioner WIBA- YES- great product. Love love love the "cake like" smell, rich feel. Does not make hair greasy the next day. Fab product in the £1 range
Boots Time dealy SPF day cream - finally finished this which I got in MAy WIBA- Ive never paid for this and another one in stock for when my home day cream runs out. YES -love this light daily cream- but probably wouldnt choose it over others unless it was free :j
Curl Creme by Twisted Sista- OH has fine hair with a curl. This is one of the ones he likes as does not make his hair heavy. Smells nice too. We have another instore but he would say definately YES to WIBA
Started using the M&S coconut scrub- sorry to be the bearer iof you have one ( or more!) in stores- but this is rubbish. Smells nice in the bottle, but very slicky and plasticky. Hardly any grains in it at all did not feel like a scrub at all. WIBA- despite my love of coconut- definately not! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Have still got lots of shower gel and body stuff left, but may have to buy shampoo. Have got some Tresomme that my sister bought me and it makes my head itchy. I could borrow DS' Head & Shoulders as he has quite a stash.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Hi can I join in too?
Must say I have been much better since I stopped reading the Boots glitches thread :oand I tried to get down on stuff before we moved house 6 weeks ago as it was getting a bit embarrassing. Right I am off to have a look at what I have and what I am likely to need to buy (prob toothpaste and deodrant rather than face cream and body lotion!:rotfl:)Cross Stitch Challenge Member ?Number 2013 challenge = to complete rest of millenium sampler.0 -
I finally managed to finish some things - a tube of toothpaste and a wee tube of Pantene shampoo. :j Now its back to the half used (and hated!) huge bottle of Pantene! This one was from a product test I did ages a go. WIBA - no way! Pantene and my hair hate each other... My hair always feels wierd after using it! :rotfl:
I got two massive bottles as product testers, and gave them to my boyfriend after using them for a few days. The conditioners are ok but nothing special... am using them up via the conditioner-only hair wash method, so hopefully will be gone soon.0 -
Oh don't laugh, i've been on norethisterone for 2.5 years so haven't had a period in all that time :j:j but still keep buying them and use them to keep feeling fresh!!!
Norethisterone is my friend!! I admit, I do use scented liners to feel fresh but not every day, only when I actually go out socialising.0
