Salesaddict and others - if this thread can act as a confessional for you it may well help - just remember when you're tempted to buy stuff, you'll have to come on here after and confess all to us, and we're going to be CROSS! ;)

Oh yes, very cross indeed! ;)

Have just realised that I have one more cleanser than I thought so that makes 1 Simple (currently in use), 1 Nivea, 1 Olay, the Body Shop passionfruit facewash that's currently being used, and the half a bar of Clinique soap that's currently in use as well, albeit a bit relegated until the facewash is used. I wouldn't mind, but I only bought the Clinique and the Nivea ones (OK, it was so long ago I can't quite remember but I may have bought the Simple as part of a set as well): the rest kind of 'developed'. That should keep me going for 6 months or so!

I've just realised what we can do to salesaddict etc. to help keep them on the path to beauty righteousness: if they buy stuff they shouldn't, we can all take those manky toiletries that smell a bit dodgy that we know we should have thrown out by now and use them on them! It's perfect: we get rid of out nasties, they get a reminder and also an excuse to use their nice products until the smell goes away! ;)

i did confess much earlier in the thread to buying vitamin e oil. i justified it by saying i didn't have any.
well i used it twice and put it away and forgot about it. this is what i do - or used to do. i only remembered about it when i was talking to my mum  so yeah i have slipped. :o

Well let that be the lesson fizzy trinket- if you think youll be buying anything its jsut another thing on the pile for you to use up at a later date :D At least you learned that lesson early in the year ;)
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

To be fair, I doubt Fizzy is the only one: I had to use 'The Force' the other day to not buy something totally frivolous (so frivolous that I can't even remember what it was now!), but I held strong, realising as you say Lynzpower, that I would just have to use it up later.

oh why am I the only weak, selfish one on here?
I only went into the 99p store to get the stardrops cleaner that is supposed to be the saviour of the world on the os board.
    I came out with
2 pretty polly products for legs, one is a leg oil and one a bronzing stick.
I had seen them in Superdrug for about £6 each last Summer. I wanted to try them but would not pay that price.
It is the first time I have ever been in a Poundstore as I had just assumed everything would be rubbish at that price. But I was like a kid in a sweetshop. It comes to something when my 8 year old dd had to remind me about my pledge.
    Talk about Saffy and Edwina.

So then I couldn't resist going into Savers as I had never been in there either
and someone had mentioned it on this thread.
I could not resist the retro nulon hand products. I bought the hand scrub the overnight cream with cotton gloves and the cuticle cream. What swung it for me there was that I had seen them for a lot more money previously and they have all sorts of ingredients that I can't resist. I also loved the S&G type packaging.
I also bought Nivea Soft, which I have never tried but someone on here mentioned that it was the best body cream they had used. I had looked at it in Superdrug but was not going to pay £6.95. I got it in there for £2.95 with 50pct free.

Then I went to Primark to get my dd some ugg-like boots for a fiver.
I came out with those and came out with a double ended lipgloss and a double ended sparkly mascara. Those are for teenagers. What was I thinking?
I also bought a body wash for 50p reduced from £2

Then I went into Boots to just read the blurb on the hot cloth cleanser. It was out of stock in the main branch and that just set off this uncontrollable urge to own one. So I trudged over to the smaller branch, despite the protestations of my dd, because she can only take so much shopping. ( Hopefully a good sign that she won't grow up to be like me)
But there was a newly delivered order of lift & illuminate which I have been dying to try since I read about it . I did no more than open the large crate myself (I may say ripped it open in a frenzy) and I bought that too.
I did use my £5 vouchers but in my frenzy I forgot my extra 250 points out of the recent free gift.
I know I only have myself to blame

    ((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))

We are here for you and you can do this, PM me anytime you need to talk xoxoxo

I haven't used anything up this weekend, haven't even had a shower today!!! I'll be showering tomorrow morning, which is a pain as I can't spend as much time on my beauty routine as I would at night. Ah well, never mind!!!!!!
