Oh no...I've failed
I ordered some Lush stuff last night... I'm sorry...
If I had any form of defence tho, it would be that I've just moved in with my bf, who has a bath, (my mum dosen't), and I wanted to try these "bath ballastics" I keep hearing about, as I obviously don't have any bath products at the moment. Ok, its a pants excuse, but it's true...theres a free thing coming with it, so I also get to try some bits. Haven't paid for it, so hopefully it's not cheating?!! (She says sheepishly)....:hello:No more toiletries challenge :T

salesaddict, I'd like to second and third all previous comments. We will all try to support you with cutting down on the spending and please do chop up the cards!
Maybe you could start looking at cheap/ free things to do with your daughter. Do you live near some woods or anywhere that you can go out for nice long walks? That can while away a few hours and costs nothing. Then you can go home and use up some of your stash getting warm and gorgeous again!
Try to take it one step at a time. This lifestyle and your situation didn't happen overnight so you can't cure it overnight. Use the time it takes to reeducate yourself and to find other things to do with your time. You may develop new interests and find a love for making some wonderful things.
Good luck with your journey!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
I have finally used up a tube of Botanics body balm ( yes, its a lotion!) :j II have had this for a year, as I started with it last Xmas.
Needless to say, absolutely nothing to write home about- im growing to learn this of most boots botanics stuff- its OK, but *shrug* nothing special .
Needless to say wont be buying this again although it did come in a set ( bought for present kept for self  )
Body moisture wise now, Im going to choose M&S shea butter body butter- smell is gorgeous, just tried a bit and lovely feel and easy dissolving into skin.
Hugs to anyone that needs them
Doesnt it feel like weve been doing tihs challenge for AGES. Its only 2 weeks since New Year! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Soz wrong support groupbut I have failed
I popped into boots to get nappies (they don't count as toiletries) and they had botanics hair conditioner only 50p and there was only 1 so ummmmmmmmmmmmmm I'm sorry but honestly it jumped into my basket then wrestled my purse off my it then opened said purse and paid for itself!!!!! Honest I had nothing to do with it
I will try harder I promise
hi Ellen
I think the bigger point here is WHY you went to Boots for nappies when sainsbury's baby event has just finished, Morrisons event was at the weekend and Asda's starts tomorrow!!
I need to go buy more cold and flu tablets today they are SOOOO expensive!!!!!!!loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Have to agree with you there Chicky- Boots is a nice shop full of goodies, but hardly ever the cheapest place to buy anything:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Hi
Don't worry I did the same thing!
Can I join? I am a fellow impluse buyer, but all the advice on here is so good I am going to try and follow it. Re Lush, I looked at the web site and saw the New Year free offer was not shown so thought I would only window shop and then when I had so many items in the basket, the free gift popped and before I knew it I had completed the order-think my hand got possessed0 -
Woohoo, just decanted a 2g pot of Bareminerals into my larger pot. Have added a 2g equivalent price to my tally as I've thrown the pot away.
Think the not stocking up thing is harder than I thought. DH's anti perspirant and toothpaste were on offer in Tesco. Saved £4.34 by buying 2 of each rather than 1 of each. His stuff isn't included in the total as he won't tell me when he finishes something so my tally won't be correct.0 -

Check the active ingredients on Sinus relief stuff and on all the generic brands - you can always find them cheaply. Sinus relief stuff is often the same as cold tablets and is cheaper.0
