Are we still doing Paint Your Nails Monday? Or did I get the days mixed up
Anyway, I've just used a No 7 called Deeply Dusk (in the old style packaging, so I dread to think how long I've had it - but in fairness to Boots, it still acts like nail varnish should - no gloopiness or hardened chemical in the bottom at all).

I used up a full size Dove Shower gel this morning (that I got for free in the post), so that is one item down! I decanted a massive bottle of Clinique clarifying lotion into a smaller bottle, I got rid of a lot of manky old stuff last night that had started to smell weird and I also made another pile of unopened stuff to sell on ebay!
In the process, I threw out a horrible smelling Dior Addict lipgloss that I had had for ages (sob) and some P&P serum that I never used up (it was smelling sour) plus other bits and pieces. I also found 2 brand new Clinque GWP lipsticks that I have put into my everyday make up bag (the colours are fab).
I am excited that my bathroom is looking less cluttered (I am going to start on the rest of the flat when I get home tonight)!I'm buying No More Toiletries, I'm Deluttering and I'm Losing Weight for 2010!0 -

I ordered some Lush stuff last night... I'm sorry...
If I had any form of defence tho, it would be that I've just moved in with my bf, who has a bath, (my mum dosen't), and I wanted to try these "bath ballastics" I keep hearing about, as I obviously don't have any bath products at the moment. Ok, its a pants excuse, but it's true...theres a free thing coming with it, so I also get to try some bits. Haven't paid for it, so hopefully it's not cheating?!! (She says sheepishly)....
Oh dear your excuses are weak-throwing Boots neroli bubble bath I dislike (smells nice but is not moisturising).:rotfl::rotfl: but be careful Lush is very, very adictive. Don't really like their bath ballistics prefer bath melts (note to self; should not be encouraging mandymoomoo to buy more Lush products:shocked::shocked:)I went away and now I'm back.:j:j0 -
Have to agree with you there Chicky- Boots is a nice shop full of goodies, but hardly ever the cheapest place to buy anything
That's my thought as well: I always think that if I can't find something I want that is sold in more than one place cheaper than at Boots, then I'm not trying hard enough! Please call me 'Pickle'

Hi everyone. I went into Boots the other day to see if they had any nice gift sets at half-price for a gift for a friend. They didn't have anything but I had a look around anyway. Somehow I managed to resist all the offers and left empty-handed. It felt very strange. I had to remember that there will still be offers on when I actually need the stuff.
On another note, I have started using the Olay serum up. There was a half-bottle in my drawer, I am not sure why I stopped using it because it's fabulous!Clothes challenge 2011 £254.08/£500!!!Toiletries challenge 2011 Trying!:j:T:j0 -
Well done to you all!!!!
Jacjacjac, your post reminded me - I have noticed that this challenge is making me more inclined to declutter in other areas. I cleared out the fridge and larder at the weekend and threw out some tins of stuff that I will honestly never use, and OOD bits and pieces. I also organised dried stuff e.g. pasta and rice, we forget what we have and buy more and I am determined to use it up before replacing it! I also defrosted and cooked some meat from the freezer over the weekend, yay.
I am also decluttering in general and am definitely going to get rid of stuff on eBay or at a car boot sale. So this thread is having a positive effect in lots of different ways!!
I had a lovely shower this morning, put on body lotion afterwards even though it took a while to sink in, so I had to wait half an hour before dressing. I don't like the lotion though, it's Palmers Cocoa Butter (pregnancy formula even though I'm not, it's just a richer version). I've tried Palmers' before and don't know why everyone raves about it, it's not actually that moisturising and absolutely stinks!! :rotfl:
ETA: Would I buy it again? No way!
I am also using my Skin Doctors Relaxaderm more often now instead of saving it for best, and it is fab!
Would I buy it again? Yes (if it was on clearance again, sigh)
Ooops, I'm not even finished these, so not sure I should be reviewing them yet, but I won't change my mind if that counts...Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

I agree Blonde Ambition, it is so liberating to be able to ignore all those offers and Grabbits! And I can't wait to fill up my little 'no more toiletries' savings account every time I resist/use something up! :T:T:T
p.s. to those who are eBaying, where do you find the space to store your stash while photographing/listing it and waiting for the auction to end? It's probably ok for toiletries but my eBay clothes pile is mounting up and I haven't even got started yet! :eek:Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Um, well it's not the tidiest of enterprises...omlettes and eggs and all that.
I have a massive bag and a wicker box where I put all my things, but I do have to have them out on the floor to my bedroom so it's not always the most space-efficient thing, but it's the only way I can keep track of them. I keep telling myself that once I have sold them I am creating more space, but it's a pain in the meantime. (I have a small room.)Please call me 'Pickle'

I would fold all the clothes and put them in a bag, but I feel like I should keep them on hangers so they won't crease! LOLGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

I have been trying to follow this, seeing as I have 2 body scrubs, 3 bottles of lotion, 2 body butters and endless perfumes and deoderants to use up - but I went mad last week - I went in Lush, and got Rock Star soap as I love the smell - persuaded myself to buy two and another one, and a massage bar and a bath thing "The Comforter". Now, how do I use the massage bar that I shouldn't have bought?** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
