I would fold all the clothes and put them in a bag, but I feel like I should keep them on hangers so they won't crease! LOL
i always re-iron them and fold them beautifully so they look lovely when they come out of the packet for the buyer. Please call me 'Pickle'

I was doing so well. Had finished a Body Shop shower gel and decanted a half used radox bath creme into it. Used up a hand cream sample and was feeling very pleased with my self. Then I decided to paint my nails. My DD had 'borrowed' my usual colour so I went get out the spare one and thats when I found I had 25 bottles!!!!!!!!
How long is it going to take me to use that lot up? Most of them have hardly been used and probably only need a shake to remix them.
Feeling depressed:eek::eek::j Thanks to all those that post. :A0 -
Hi, I have been a bit quiet on the using it up front , I have finished up one my many Lush shower gels and have had a head start on using up my stash of Gok stuff as I've developed an allergic reaction to it , which is just about typical as I really love the smell of it (and I wasn't really planning to buy some more in the Boots 75% sale - oh noo *whistles innocently and shuffles feet*) so I'm going to return the unopened gift pack (hopefully I have the receipt somewhere) , hmm that's cheating a bit though I guess.
I resisted everything at work yesterday (although i did get one of the new ballistics for free) so I have been on the straight and narrow - apart from a *cough* order from Elf* cough but that's make up and not toiletries right and in my defence it was some of my birthday money that I spent .0 -
have jpned you all - have been reading this thread for ages. I have drawers full of stuff and even more gift boxes in the wardrobe. I am one of those stupid people who didn't open the gift boxes because they are for best - yet I go out about twice a year - stupid stupid.
Anyway went into the dreaded Boots on Saturday to buy an eyeliner and put it on points then went to the pound shop for cotton wool - pats self on back.
Right a question for you, have about 40 perfumes, I put it on in the morning but really it could do with a refresh around lunchtime - I could do with a spray bottle and a little funnel thing to decant it - anybody seen any as MSE as possible of course?
So far have used up one bottle of conditioner, a sample size of foaming facial wash and a sample size of night cream, however am using body lotion, fot cream, cellulite cream and hand cream on a daily basis so hope to report some more empty bottles soon.
Keep strong all.

I have nail varnish in storage, a small tuck trunk full, and accumulated ''a few'' while they have been in storage too.
Here's my advice.
Bish any dried/separated and unrecoverables. That gives a true picture of what you are left with.
Look at them and note hard what colours you have. We don't really need every single shade: contrasting nails are cooler than matchy matchy anyway. Now, realistically, I know some of the ....grungier colours I have in strrage I'm not going to wear again...moss green? Brown???. They'll go in the bin:even my neices won't want them! Then there are going to be other colours that might be fun and pretty but just don't suit skin tone (I have a super orangey colour I adore but it makes me look jaundaced) those will go to friends/neices.
Then looking at near same shades: if there are more than three near matches, they have got to go too I've decided. :rolleyes:I'll keep the nicest and give the rest. for me this is golds. I have a bout 9 shades of gold, from barely there to coppery-bronze. I'm drawn to pale shimmery golds, but in reality, I never need another gold, and I can get rid of some of these.
Now remember not just what you've got but what you've got rid of: and DON'T replace them. When you are tempted note the cost and drop it in a piggy bank to save for something more life enhancing/useful or do something nice for someone else with the money.0 -
Wow, we girlies can talk!
I've gotten rid of a benefit 'realness of concealness' kit. there was a lip plumper (I don't need that!), a eyebag depuffer, lemonaid, boing concealer and high beam. High beam is the only one out of those that I use - the others just didn't work or were the wrong colour, had it for ages and it was looking all scummy so out it went. It was about £20 but had been bought with points. Would buy highbeam again, but not the rest of the products of another kit.
Also got rid of pearl drops teeth whitening stuff - you paint it on and it's supposed to make your teeth look whiter. No idea why I bought thisI know it was on offer when I did (most of my stuff is!) but I could just've gotten another toothpaste! Anyway, I wouldn't buy it again as it didn't work and started chipping off if you ate anything and looked ridiculous.
I agree Blonde Ambition, it is so liberating to be able to ignore all those offers and Grabbits! And I can't wait to fill up my little 'no more toiletries' savings account every time I resist/use something up! :T:T:T
p.s. to those who are eBaying, where do you find the space to store your stash while photographing/listing it and waiting for the auction to end? It's probably ok for toiletries but my eBay clothes pile is mounting up and I haven't even got started yet!
I'm wearing mineI found a skirt in the back of my wardrobe that I'd have since before I had my little girl (she's three now!) and it's a little bit big now :j The rest of it is just laid out in the my room, it looks horrid and messy, but at least it'll be gone soon. I'm gonna be carbooting, btw.

I haven't used it up, but I used some Body Shop clay mineral face mask today and my face feels really, really soft as a result. Yippee! My mum's friend was round so I got her to use some as well. There's still a lot to go, but I will make a point of trying to use it once or twice a week as it says on the tube. I will be lucky to make it once a week, but hey, if I don't try it won't go!0

I think the bigger point here is WHY you went to Boots for nappies when sainsbury's baby event has just finished, Morrisons event was at the weekend and Asda's starts tomorrow!!

I hated all the rest of the stuff in the realness of concealness, I love the high beam, but the rest made me look as if I was seriously ill, the lip plumper was the worst!:rotfl:8 months to go till end of the IVA :j:rotfl::T0
