This is the thread for me, I have so many toiletries (I have no idea why as I'm sure I don't buy many - except the odd mad moment in sales) so will be sticking to this!

Me too BBTHREE - on the milk bottle colour. I've lost count of the amount of times the doctor has sent me for anemia tests despite me insisting I'm not ill looking I'm pale and mysterious :D

Hey fixx, I agree with lynzpower. Buy what you like. I find a lot of eye creams seem to make my eyes sting and all sorts. Plus if you buy at bonus time you can then sell the gift on ebay? Heres a list of forthcoming clinique bonus times, and where:

:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Also saw this offer if you can visit Selfridges:
    http://www.clinique.co.uk/stores_events/se_special_events.tmpl
Again you could sell the gift to help recoup the cost of your eye cream.

Everyone else who doesnt need any clinique products, look away now!

is that what it will take? :D
  • OMG, I did the same with Nulon stuff in Savers today ! I saw the packaging and thought it looked just like S&G so I bought the hand scrub :rotfl:I wanted the cuticle cream too but thought 'no!!!' as I don't even know what to do with it... even though it was only 79p.

See, now why couldn't I have done that?

I have to say though, Salesaddict, most of my stores come from £1 shops/ savers etc. You do get really good products that are 4 quid upwards in boots. REGULARLY. Like ALL THE TIME.

Iam trying to avoid as I go mad when I see Toni & Guy shampoo etc in 99p stores, but to be fair theyve been selling it for over a year now, so whats the rush? KMS products ( mainly styling) are also ALWAYS in 99p stores. but if you ever see the large SALON size pump bottles of conditioner that is definatley a grabbit.

I saw the kms gel and sculpting something or other but I don't use that type of thing. Do they ever have any other Kms stuff? I would not be able to resist Tony and Guy at that price.

(sorry just re-read your post, so they do sometimes have Kms conditioner . Would not be able to resist that wonderful stuff)

It's got to be something drastic. Willpower certainly won't do it. Maybe Bankruptcy will.:o

I am utterly speechless at her _pale_ naughtiness!!

Seriously, salesaddict, have you given yourself a toiletries budget for this Challenge? If these goodies are your little indulgence, and God knows, we all need a bit of that from time to time, can you set a modest monthly budget so you can still treat yourself? We didn't all start this challenge from the same base, so even small steps to improve the buying and accumulating situation still count.
PS Know what you mean about Saffy and Edina!! That's DD and I at times!!

Advice needed actually - I'm not keen on the eye cream I'm using at the minute (boots time delay), and I don't have any alternatives. I love the Clinique All about Eyes/All about eyes rich creams, and i'll soon run out of my my Clinique foundation (well, 3 weeks time or so) - can anyone recommend a decent cheaper alternative eye cream to stop me hunting down a Clinique bonus time when i need to replace my foundation?
I only really like gels that feel really moisturising, or light but rich creams. The time delay stuff just feels like a weird film sitting on my skin

How about trawling the posh counters at a quiet time for a few samples. Eye cream lasts for ages, so the samples could keep you going for a while and you could try out the different brands at the same time. You could've had my free gift pot of Clinique eye cream, except I stuck my finger in it and am using it on the backs of my hands now! :D In fact might see what I can get myself now on Monday when I go to town to return my "sofas" to M&S (Grabbit board in-joke!!)
