I was tempted by the Soap and Glory hatbox offer on Grabbit, but luckily I hesitated so it went out of stock! Topped up the shower gel with some old shampoo, so got rid of another bottle. OH must wonder why the shower gel bottle never empties!0

I finished off a shower gel on Thursday and this morning used up the last of a body scrub. And I have been good and have stopped myself going into Boots although I will be going in there probably some time next week as I need to get some reserve deodorant and I can print off a voucher for bogof on the brand I use. Now how many vouchers should I print off!! Also my local Boots is only a small one and the clearance is usually pretty cr*p so no chance of me making any unnecessary purchases :jDid owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

HOWEVER if you started something at 3.99 with no reserve then it would be free to list.
hope that makes sense.
OK thanks. I have also sorted through some clothes and have so much I could sell. I don't know if I could be bothered photographing and listing them all individually on eBay though, would a car boot sale be better? Or could I package them into job lots e.g. group them by shop, size, season etc?

The listerine has gone!!
Horrid stuff. Does not taste like fresh mint or clean mint or whatever it was masquerading itself as. Should really be done under trade descriptions act.
WIBA: NO!Also off to the big recycling centre in the sky is:
Charles Worthington brilliant shine shampoo (takeaway size).
Bought this because I read it had good reviews in a magazine. It's not a bad shampoo, and has quite a nice smell but made my hair feel and look greasy. May work on dryer hair types.
WIBA: No.
Charles Worthington brilliant shine conditioner (takeaway size).
As above.
WIBA: No.Hey! Did you really forget to take the pedicure set back or did you "forget" to take it back?!!
That means another £24.99 worth of products you've 'got' to choose when you exchange it;).
I got home and it was sat, staring me in the face! I'd put it there so I'd remember to take it:rotfl:
P.S. Should point out that I'm not deliberately trying to use products up, and being wasteful. I just had so many open at the one time. I dread to think how much it would cost me to replace all the stuff finished last night and today!
ETA: The shampoo/conditioner and listerine alone would cost £7.69 to replace and the products finished yesterday would be £69.05 :eek:0 -
OK thanks

HI, tara a bit of topic but, DD1 sells stuff on eBay & we usually do a carboot sale once a year. She finds clothes quite often sell better in bundles, takes a photo of each item & does brief description, and sells as a job lot, by size. She finds it much less time consuming then listing stuff individually. Anything that doesnt sell goes to car boot and sold cheaply, after that we give it to a charity shop.

I've used up a very old facial cleanser, deoderant and a bottle of hair cream. I've even been scraping the dregs of a lipbalm out of the container from where you cant get your lips into it. :rotfl:0

You should, it is like a reward for using the less luxurious stuff during the week. This is what I'm doing too.
Tell you what, go into your stores/stash, get any lush stuff you have- put it all in a paper bag, walk around with it for a bit. Take it out, look at it, add up what it cost you then put the same cash into savings:beer:
it might work

I need new mascara. I'm currently using the Max Factor False Lash one, which is brilliant, but quite expensive, especially given that I'm over my toiletries budget for the month thanks to my trip to Boots yesterday
I found the Grabbit thread about the Body Shop deal where you buy two bits of makeup and get mascara free!
Duly bought two small compact mirrors which will go into pampering hampers for people at Christmas - £4 spent, free mascara for me. Best bit is that it come off the Christmas budget :A
I bought this too, but it's for my mum, as she needs a new mascara and I wanted to treat her. I popped in two mirrors and got 10% off, so that's £3.60 for a mascara and mirror for mum and a mirror for me (I do need one actually, the lid snapped on mine recently and I meant to get around to buying a new one). So pleased!!!!!!
I am planning a long soak with a face mask on later, followed by lots of body butter (S&G or Sanctuary as it's the weekend), mmmmmmmm!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Anyone know where i can get cheap lynx from? The OH has run out.
They sell it in pound shops under the name 'Axe', apparently. People say it's exactly the same stuff, but that's what it's called in other countries...Please call me 'Pickle'
