I'm so sorry to hear you news pippo. I hope it works out better than you could ever expect!
    Afternoon Everyone :j

    It's my birthday! :bdaycake::dance:

I opened my presents and i havent had any smellies so far but i had a No.7 compact which looks beautiful and another compact. I already have enough make-up (not quite as bad as my toiletries!) so if i dont get the chance to use them i might "recycle" them to other people. I dont like doing it but id rather someone else enjoy it :D

I've managed to use another pack of wipes, an exfoliator and a shampoo :D

Hope everyone is getting on ok!
I love compacts i collect vintage ones. I have a couple of beautiful modern ones but i forget to put them in my handbag my OH brought me one (after going on and on about it) xmas 08 and its still downstairs! Have a wonderful birthday! x

    Happy Birthday, Jewelleryfan!

Products that have been sacked today:

    Simple face wash
Would I buy again: If I had to stick to a budget, then I don't see why not. The only gripe is that it's quite difficult to get out of the tube and I cut my thumb trying to open it one day! However my favourite cleanser of all time is eve lom.

    Dermalogica Skin Prep Scrub
WIBA: Yes. Although they might not smell the best (this is because they don't add in lots of synthetic smells), they do work. However, when using hot cloth cleansers, I won't need to buy it (ooh, don'tcha just love multi benefits - saving my skin, the planet and my pocket  :D)

    Dermalogica Multi-Vitamin Power Repair Mask
WIBA: Yes! I love this stuff. 'Nuff said :D

    Sanctuary Salt Scrub
WIBA: No. It's a good product (smells delicious) but no, I wouldn't. If only for the simple fact that it makes a bit of a mess. I would rather use exfoliating gloves and shower gel.

    1 x disposable razor
WIBA: Goodness, no! My legs don't feel properly shaved. Venus all the way for me :D

    P&P intense serum (trial size!)
    WIBA: Yes, already have :A

CND green tea and citrus hand and body lotion
Lovely, long-lasting, light scent. It is quite a light lotion, so if you're looking for something more heavy duty, then it's not for you. Sinks into skin well.
WIBA: Yes, but I do have other favourites.

Drunk more than my 8 glasses of water today again :j
  • Thanks for all my birthday wishes! :j

I've just got home from dinner, it was lovely im very full up now and the restaurant sang me Happy Birthday and i had a candle in my apple crumble :rotfl:

Guess what....i got a box of smellies, a No7 pink and black box with mini bottles, a head band and a buffer brush. Its lovely but i wont use it as i love my Liz Earle too much :D I think it will probably be "recycled" with the make-up compacts :o It's a good job i have different circles of friends who dont know eachother as they might end up with eachothers presents :o:p
Saving my pennies for my wedding on 10th August 2013! :D :j
    First date 28/01/2010 :) Engaged 25/08/2011 :D Getting married 10/08/2013 :j

    HELP

Someone PLEASE stop me buying hemp stuff on the Body Shop website, it's on 3for2!!!!!!!

    arrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhh torture

Have you used it before?? It's got a bit of a funny smell. It's very functional, bit like buying a bar of Lifebuoy for washing or a tin of vaseline for moisturising really! Packaging is quite dreary too. That metal tube on the hand stuff gets all scrunched up and creased really easily and if you're not careful you get this snotty-looking greenish crusty gunge all round the lid cos it's so small.

Yep, that ought to do the trick! :rotfl:

I thought about you all today whilst at work :D

I am doing a clearout of a building and everything goes binward if it doesnt get claimed by staff :) Clearing out a pedestal I have found 3 brand new totally unused, still in the packets crabtree & evelyn "hand therapy"

Of course I had to accost them for self. I was thinking when my hand cream runs out ( and I do have a huge molton brown one to go - thats in stores for when champneys runs out which simply seems like never) I am going to treat myself to Loccitane handcream selection ( you know the one thats often on QVC :o ) as Occitane is the best hand-cream ever ( although I do like nutrogena as well)

Alas feel like Ive been somewhat set back on my path for these occitane hand creams- will have to wait a few more months

IIRC Hand Therapy is a hand scrub rather than a cream? If I'm thinking of the right product then they are absolutely gorgeous! :T

I have started the summer one and the smell is really floral, Im not into floral really. Think Ill definately get rid of the rosewater one as I bet that smells similar. The shea one I will keep for best :D
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    Happy Birthday Jewelleryfan!

I used up a sachet of Palmer's Cocoa Butter last night - not for me. Smelt a bit weird but it's gone now. :j
It's quite fun to think of what I can replenish my stock with once it's all used up. Think I'll buy some S&G or other nice things with my points when the time comes. :D
My OH made sure I didn't buy a bag of cute mini animal soaps from Bodyshop recently, he said I'd never use them; which is true. They just looked nice! :rotfl:

Think my skin is a bit worried now it's regularly being buttered up - doesn't know what's hit it. :o

Just had a off topic question to put to your guys as OH and i were arguing about this last night.

Does anyone else match their jewellery to their clothes or make-up?

I do all the time and OH said it was silly and he doesn't know anyone who does that. Like today i have a blue t-shirt on so i'm wearing mostly clear diamond jewellery but have picked a tanzanite ring that is the exact same colour as my t-shirt.
Definitely! The whole outfit has to work. It doesn't necessarily have to be the same colour, but does need to go together.
