Well I was in boots today and I got the protect and perfect cream. The one I have just isn't working atm and the sample I had of that made my skin look much better, so it was a very justifiable purchase (:A;)). Will use the stuff that I have now in the summer, when I don't need such a heavy product.

Had 2 x £5 off No7 vouchers and 2 x 250 points when you buy any No7 product (came with the freebie that I found the p&p cream in!)

    Got:
    2 x moisturiser 20.50
    1 x intense serum 19.50(ish)
It's on 342 atm, minus the £5 voucher and the 250 points. Ended up spending £36.

Also got the hot cloth cleanser that I saw recommended recently (don't worry, I'm low on cleanser :p). It's £8.75 - minus £5 voucher and 250 points. There is loads of it - it should last me for ages!

Good news - didn't even peek at the sale :A

The bad news is... I forgot to take the pedicure set back  Might nip back down tomorrow and take them back then.

Oh, more bad news - my fave fake tan (the spray sublime bronze) was back up to a tenner so I didn't get any :(

    Hello Freya,

would you let me know what the hot cloth cleanser is like please. I am dying to try it but I have been holding back as I have at least 10 cleansers plus litres of almond and peach kernel oil that I also use for cleansing. I so want to try it though.

    Thanks

I definitely need to work on finishing body butters, lip balms and lip glosses, I don't think I've ever finished a lip balm
Ooh, I finished a pot of Carmex just a few days ago!

Have also almost finished a Boots Time Delay lip plumper. This is a really good product. It's definitely worth getting when they have the £5 off Time Delay vouchers. Of course I have a few in preparation now (and the last one lasted me at least a year!).

    Hiya,

I've only used it the once, but it seems to be good. It's creamy, it removed my mascara in one go (I don't wear very heavy make-up though), didn't dry my skin out and it looks like it's given me a good cleanse.

I'll let you know if I still like it after about a week or so though :D

Hey! Did you really forget to take the pedicure set back or did you "forget" to take it back?!!

That means another £24.99 worth of products you've 'got' to choose when you exchange it;).

I've finally finished some things! And almost finished a lipgloss.
    • timotei avocado and apricot shampoo (never again!!! smells lovely but does nothing for my hair, apart from clean it). still have 1.5 conditioners left though :/
    • baby wipes
    • l'occitane hand cream (this is lovely, I'll miss it)
L'occitane have the best hand creams ever. I'm totally out of hand cream now but am going to start to use random moisturisers instead, just to use them up a bit quicker.. How much do the L'occitane sets go for on QVC? Cheaper than the website price or..? I don't know much about qvc!!

I used up a body scrub today so only 4 more to go!

I'm writing a list of what I spend and what I use up over the year. Used up list is already 4 times what I've spent so I'm very chuffed!

Used up a couple more bath things. Caught a glimpse of DH in the mirror tonight as I was getting ready for work. He was just running the bath and opened up the bath bits bag, he pulled such a funny face as he got out a small bottle of evening primrose buuble bath and added it to the water!!!! He's trying his best though! He keeps asking where all of his deodorants are and I won't let him have one until he's used up the two almost empty ones that I left out for him. He's not happy but he's getting there!
Can't wait to get home this morning. I'm really tired and am looking forward to a nice bath and hair was and then getting into bed all warm with a belly full of toast and hot drink. I don't have to get up at 2.30 today so will get much longer in bed! When I do get up DH and I are going to do a bit more tidying in our room.

Oh by the way, whoever mentioned the fruit teas :eek::eek::eek::eek: please can we not go there!

Well, I just ordered a new Hypnose mascara and some Bifacil eye make up remover. So previous quote is now rubbish. Quick justification - I was buying hubbies birthday present onlne so thought I would see what else was on site to save future p&p. I haven't got a spare mascara and that is make up essential, and I loved the Bifacil when I got a small bottle in a pack before Christmas. I only have about 20mls of current eye make up remover left.

Someone has to do it don't they bronnie - seems like a few people opening thier purses unnecessarily :nono:

Im feeling ever so angelic though as still not snapped apart from the essentials.

Coconut conditioner is upside down now so conditioner is a need over the next few days as I have nothing in stores for this. Otherwise - all set.

I know Fresian is also undertaking the frugal living challenge- Im really getting back into the swing of this moneysaving so BRONNIE and anyone else if you feel like Im spending unnecesarily PLEASE gfor GODS SAKE get out the virtual cattle prod and get me TOLD!

Im saving this year and we want to be a lot richer by Xmas. This wont happen if I don't break old habits of buying stuff i want rather than what is a NEED.

Im off to the gym later and will of course use their shower gel and conditioner although the shampoo is really stripping so Ill probably take one from home. Will have a look on mysupermarket to see where has the best offers on conditioners as I wont be going anywhere with £ shops or savers etc.

    Happy pampering gang.
