Vitamin E oil on warm damp skin is the very best moisturiser I ever found I'm afraid:D Doesn't smell that wonderful - but does help the skin, although tbf, mine was always more oily than dry so haven't had that problem but suffered greatly with spots for a long time, and got rid of those just in time to get wrinkles:rolleyes::D

When I get the odd spot now it just makes me feel young:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I might give that a go then :T

I very, very rarely get spots :D

    PMSL :rotfl:

Right, I've had three glasses of water so far. Will be in and out of the bathroom all day at this rate though :o Sorry! :rotfl:

Topsy was a little girl in the book Uncle Tom's Cabin - who didn't know who her mother was and said something like "I s'pect I just growed".

The phrase became general for just things growing like wildfire:o

Ah...thank you for that. The only Topsy I had heard of was Topsy and Tim! :o

OK, my cuticles are a raggy mess. I cant put nail varnish on them in this state, so I need to buy some cuticle cream. I wonder if I should just book in a manicure today  and get the cuticle cream later on. Hmmm...

    Go for it :D

I would literally kill for a pedicure :o Can do everything myself, have all the products and tools, etc, but there's nothing quite like someone else doing it for you :j

Took a Boots passion flower and cupuacu hand cream in a pump dispenser to work last week, I have had it nearly 2 years, all the ladies in the other offices keep nipping in for a squirt, but I have just caught my makle chauvenist boss having a quick squirt while I was making the tea.....he said it smelt nice :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Might bring in some moisturiser for him now...

Also found a bag of goodies my sister had got me for christmas yesterday in teh boot of my car, so more soap and glory to add to the stockpile :rotfl:

Really fun at our local boots. I arrived at gone nine on the off chance of the sale starting today. A huge crowd of ladies with huge pull along shopping trolleys, they seemed confused. No signs were displayed other than the 50% off. I said it is obviously not today. A lady starting filling baskets in the hope of a mistake. I said I would check with the till operator. No definately only 50%. I thought oh well and left about half an hour later I walked past the store again and the same group of ladies were waiting outside the doors of the store. Apparently they had caused such trouble in the store complaining that someone who worked there had told them it was to start today. That they were all asked to leave the premises!!! Can you get barred from Boots? Seems like a bit of a worthless argument to me.
Although it doesnt surprise me last year the police were called because of the behavior of some customers. They had to barricade staff and stock for protection!!!

Oh dear! Poor them! Did nobody tell them about this thread?!!

That's just ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I like a bargain as much as the next person, but to actually behave in such a manner as to get oneself barred is ludicrous (not to mention counter-productive). Loosing one's dignity for the sake of a £5 saving or so just beggars belief. Get lives, you sad wenches!

In the near future when I've finished my stash. :j:j:rotfl::rotfl:I'm going to stick to Sweet Almond/Sunflower/Olive/Jojoba oils, essential oils and Shea/Mango butters and Monoi de Tahiti (I think). Much better for my skin.:j:j
    I went away and now I'm back.:j:j
