Used up 2 x sachets of face cream, yay! Used them on my legs. They were really mean "portions". But now they've gone.
I should have coughed to buying bubble bath the other day BUT (here me out) its for my loved one and he can only used chemical free stuff. Cos its so expensive I dont use it. Oooh feel better, didnt want anyone to think I was cheating. As after all, I'd only be cheating on myself.
Nearly finished a leave in hair conditioner, it has managed to make my hair look like Worsil Gummage (mm spelling), ie a mess! Will pour the last remnants away, it was from a salon as well. Using up the last of (two) packs of Simple wipes. Honestly they are no good for my skin. Cannot believe I used them for so long and was forever dealing with the problems of skin not being clean (spots and stuff).
Had to giggle at the used mascara not lipgloss story, what are WE like?:DDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Evening all.
I've just finished up a body cream. I did just notice that the dry skin at the top of my arms has really improved just from using the cream for 3 days in a row.
I'm on the edge of finishing a bath oil and body wash too this week.
Are other people really worried about products going off? I thought they lasted for at least a couple of years unopened. What do you think? LCxSave me from spending...

To be honest, with the amount of lotions you have to get through, I can't see how you will get through them all before they go off. Maybe your best bet would be to sell some of them and recoup at least some of the money?
Best of luck! :T
Although the lotion I am using at the moment is over five years old it is actually ok. The other lotions I have I periodically check and they all seem to be ok too, but might try selling some on e-bay if I ever manage to get round to it.
I am also hoping to start using more on a daily basis as at the moment I just use it after I've shaved my legs but the reason for that is that I feel what I am using at the moment it's too thick and would take forever to soak in when I'm trying to get ready for work in the morning.Did owe £9,951.96

I also get eyebrows waxed and tinted, (and eyelashes tinted before a holiday). I don't want to be a money saver at the expense of my morale and good self image! I just don't want to waste money, or buy products I don't need, don't use or don't like. Hope that makes sense?

Nah! I look at products as I do food. If it smells ok then I'll use it0 -
Im not worried about stuff going off to be honest, but then I dont have as big a stockpile of creams etc that others have. If stuffs been sitting around for ages Ive usually used it up ( ie the hot foot moisturising towel idea) or it went in the bin.
The challenge for me is about reducing shopping, rotating stocks and keeping my money mine for longer.
Have now finished nivea soft ( facial) Im now moved onto Loreal PLentitide Hydrafresh. I randomly bought this from a fete about a year ago for £1. Wish id bought more now  its lovely.
have jsut used up an eye cream sachet- garnier ultralift pro X. can feel absolutely no difference in using it, so wouldnt buy this.
Ive rotated my shower gel and am next starting on a boots toning one as it looks quite boring and I only want nice products in the basket to look forward to:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Did you read my post the other day about returning the pedicure set?? !!
That pedicure set turned out to be such a bargain!!
How old are you FM?
What I like really like best about P&P are the firming and lifting qualities. I find it brilliant for this. If you're not sagging yet (:rotfl:), I wouldn't spend the money on it to be honest. I would suggest it's really for the over 40's. ( I don't know how old that damn irritating woman they use in their commercials is??)
I know a lot of younger women use it too but I believe, manufacturer's play on the insecurities of younger women too. I only believe these creams have a temporary lifting and firming effect, it's effective, but stop using it and your skin is the same as if you'd never used. To me, having been through this stage, using an firming and lifting cream for years when you don't need it , won't make the slightest bit of difference to when you do need it!!
If your skin hasn't yet started to sag/lose firmness (and believe me you'll notice when it does ), I personally wouldn't pay this much for this cream when basically you need to just moisturise and get an SPF.
Sorry if I go on about it, but have you tried oil cleansing? It's wonderful for balancing the skin. My skin is very even, dare I say, 'glowing', now and no dryness/tightness issues.
That's my opinion, for what it's worth!!!
I'm 24, but I can see my skin changing and, even if it's only until the better weather comes in again, I certainly need something more substantial than the light moisturiser (almost the consistency of a cleansing milk, IYKWIM?) that I have atm.
Happy to report that I have no problems with sagging/loss of firming just yet
I haven't tried the OCM as such, but I have used plenty of oils on my skin (sometimes use CND's solar oil as a moisturiser) and I can see that they make a difference. Love Eve Lom skincare though - I think that's my favourite (though am using the stuff I already have before I replace! :A), though I haven't tried Liz Earle.0 -
Forgot to report I found another body lotion - not much of left in the tube, so will attack that this evening. It's a posh make too. I will be glad when I get to the stage of NOT finding any more toiletries in the house.
Right off to have a bath and use more stuff! Keep up the good work everyone.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Would you believe I've just found a wee tube of moisturiser that's gone off! It was just a small one, a Clinque Happy one which a friend give me and its been sitting on my window sill. Lesson learned!
On a positive note, I just found a nearly full tub of Benefit Scandal Sandals. How I misplaced that I do not know!0 -
It is such a hard language to learn, but its something I always wanted to do. I'm still on the first part of it, there is a test at the end of each section (I got 4 out of 10) so back to the beginning I go
LOL - it's the pronounciation that's the big problem for me - actually making for mouth make the right sounds. It's SO alien to someone from the South East of England!
I find decent products are quite long-lasting though and I don't really need to retouch. depends on your skin though possibly!
Always retouch lip gloss, no need for a mirror, anytime anywhere.......except for the time I tried to do it when driving,, blindly unscrewed the lid and it was only as I smeared the wand across my lips, did I realise it was my mascara, not my lipgloss:eek:
That really, REALLY made me laugh! :rotfl:Need_a_break wrote: »
