I love the bronze stuff you have done Kandipandi, my favourite is the dragonfly.

I have made a couple more steampumk inspired things, but haven't had a chance to take any pictures yet as my 2 year old grandaughter was rushed to hospital yesterday with suspected pneumonia. She is back home now but still not too good so it may be a day or so before I get round to it but will post pictures then.

Linda ~ sorry to hear about your grandaughter, it's terrible when they are ill, hope she picks up really quickly x

Crafty ~ your new bracelets are lovely ~ I love the idea of getting a charm that means something to someone and adding it to the bracelet!

    I've been Money Tipped!
I was on here a few weeks back wanting to start to making jewellery and ive got a selection of beads and tools etc :) so im all set to go. One thing I wanted to ask you lovely people is how do you decide which beads will look good together and how do you decide which order to put them on? Also i made a bracelet over the weekend but realised i needed to include more beads which meant i needed to take them all off and add some more in, how do you avoid having to do this? xx

suze1984 - I find best for me when doing my memory wire bracelets is to set the beads I want to use out together so to see how the colours look together. For the order of them I kind of go with the flow :) I just do what I feel feels right...hope that makes sense! :D lol x

Hi all - potential jewellery newbie here (I'm usually found on the card-making thread). I fell in love with Crafty JuJu's memory bracelet when we met at the NEC, and would love to have a go at making some myself.
You know what comes next... questions! ;)
Kandipandi - can I ask where you get the vintage looking chains as on the butterfly necklace above? My friend gave me some broken jewellery, and I have the exact same butterfly. Also, when you have the glass hearts dangling from bracelets, how do you attach them? They look like they have some kind of stopper/bead at the bottom?

TIA for the help, and if I ever make anything I'll be sure to share the pics. :)
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
