. Do you need to use crimping pliers?
Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
Hi everyone (Im back lol).
Chuggingtongirl if you want to know the best elastic to use (I asked for advice in my local bead shop) then this is the one I used http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10M-SPOOL-STRONG-STRETCHY-ELASTIC-CORD-0-7MM-CLEAR_W0QQitemZ280483705554QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Crafts_JewelleryMaking_GL?hash=item414e21b2d2
I could not get the one I had through a bead twice so I went to the shop where they have jewlery classes and asked, the lady said the one I had was too big and I needed a 0.7mm. I was worried it would break but she assured me it was the strongest stuff around lol.
I am going to double the length this time and thread it through one side of the watch face and then thread the beads on both the treads (if you get my meaning lol) then I will only have one side with the knot, Im going to try the knot Kandipandi posted. Also to stop the knot slipping use Wilkinsons own super glue (one with the brush on the end).
I will post a pic when its done

Yes you do I tried just using pliers but it's so much easier and more secure if you get one.
They are about £6-12 depending on where you get them and after you have crimped you can add a little crimp cover to hide it (I added one to the colourful bracelet but not to the gold and cream one). You can stand there and agonize........
