I had to take Thea for her swimming molds fitting 2day and found a bead shop in town. I was very disappointed with what they had, they most had the very tiny beads(I think they are called seed beads, sorry if that's wrong!) I thought they were very expensive they wanted £2 for 10 pearl like beads??? Where's the cheapest/best place for beads?
Can anyone tell me what Steam Punk is please, I've heard talk of it but am non the wiser.

Hi everyone,
Been reading this thread for a week or so and very very impressed with everyone's work !
I've been jewellery making for a couple of weeks and have made mostly memory wire bracelets so far.
I would be interested in joining a challenge if I could - how does it work ? Posting pictures or sending the bracelets to each other ?

Hi, its like Fimo, I'm giving it ago (it was alittle cheaper than fimo) I want to get around to making some of my own beads & things, so I bought it with my birthday money

sorry to change the convo but i went into town today and discovered a new bead shop called bead ladies, they do a jewellery course every wednesday from 6pm till 8pm and its only £3.00 and then from September theres a full course for free because im only 18 xx

I'm happy to start it off then we can take it in turns to set the challenge. I think a week is ok to complete a challenge. How about it starts tomorrow,Friday then we can all post pics next Friday, either on here or blogs. On here would be good so we can see all the ideas in one place. Anyone can join in at any time during the week, that way those without kits etc can get them.

The challenge is to make a memory wire bracelet using any kind if beads/material/charms that you like. The theme is love.
