I think memory wire bracelets are a good starting point, i purchased my items separatly ordering memory wire, round nose pliers and then beads, however some starter packs would be cheaper.

yes ebay is were i have purchased all of my items apart from car boot sales for some beads

my round nose pliers were around about £1.99 i think

sorry the other thing im having trouble finding is brooch backs, like the clasp bit that does up are the known as something else? and how much should i be looking at paying for these? cos i have some ideas for brooches hehe

I think I saw some brooch findings on myvintagecharms.com not sure if they are the cheapest. Dichro findings are good and sanctuary beads might have some, I'll have a wee look.

Sorted out some beads I don't want anymore so it's just a case of getting started.

I think that looks a very good kit of basic items. It is probably worth the money for the pliers and book alone.
