  • Thank you for adding my name!

Well I have just weighted myself and its even worse than I thought:o

When I looked at the scales I thought I can't post that amount i'm far too embaressed and ashamed with myself that I have ignored my need to lose weight and let it go so far but I have decided that I am going to post my weight I have to stop ignoring that I am overweight and hiding from myself by just how much.

    So here goes

    16st10lb:o

I hope this will be help motivate me into really doing my best at losing a big porportion of my extra pudding.

    Good luck to us all.
    Nothing to report:p

Looks like it'll be a busy thread this month :D

So I've totted up all my 2009 calculations and the total amount of weight lost is as follows (bearing in mind I only started the diet in August so this is only over the course of 5 months):

    3 stone 10 lbs :j

Started off as size 24 and now size 18 :D

Still lots more weight to lose but I'm very determined so here's hoping for a very positive and slimmer 2010. Good luck everyone!

Wow, that is an amazing loss. Well done you.

    Morning Everybody!

Just for today - I will eat healthily and avoid any chocolates and sweets!

I have dumped my scales as that was another addiction, jumping on them every day and getting upset by all the fluctuations.

I weigh myself on a Wednesday at a friends and expect to have gained a couple of pounds over the Christmas period. Will let you know.:)

  • Oh god ive just done my weigh in and ive hit the figure I never wanted to 15 stone exactly_pale_ I'm gutted. it means I have put on 7lb since the middle of December - ive never ever put weight on at xmas but I have been off work on hols since the 16th Dec which I have never done before (and won't be doing again!!!!). I thought I had about 4/5 stone to lose but its more like 6 which seems a bit daunting but 7lbs a month seems a fair amount to aim for. (I might post my measurements later if I am feeling brave enough:eek:)

So I have had a little cry, a strong coffee, a banana sandwich (with the last of the bread) put some no point soup in the slow cooker and am about to do a big new year clean then off for a walk in the fantastic snow (I do love the snow).

Ive got no chocs/pies or anything like that left now phew! and just a sunday roast to enjoy at moms but then Monday is my official start date but will do what I can this weekend to eat normal and healthily.

Good luck everyone we can do it:j

The scales cause mental torture! give yourself a break and put them away or make someone else hide them. The batteries on mine ran out and I never replaced them. I feel so much better without that awful up and down feeling which is bound to happen as weight fluctuates so much.

I know! I'm usually quite good about not getting obsessed with them - not weighing in again till Friday now, just need to keep focused!
