Thanks for the link MRSM - but I have resisted (yay me!):T

I did check their HAE section to see if they stocked Stealing the Moon, but they don't, so going to order that from sewalong. Just going to get it now because it says 'dispatched in 10-15 working days, which isn't exactly speedy lol.

I'm thinking of doing that before Touched by Magic, think it will only take 3-4 months approx....*decisions*

    Hello all,

loving all the pics: you're all doing so well :) Been working away at my baby picture, but not getting anywhere very fast as not been getting a lot of time with it. However, I have been bad :o Just ordered these: http://www.sewandso.co.uk/cgi-bin/find/db.cgi?db=zoom&uid=&Prod_Code=64772&ww=on&do=search_results I thought £12 for the set was fantastic, and will make some lovely cards! :)

Wow Louise your picture is coming on so quickly, wish I could stitch as fast as you! It doesn't seem very long ago that you put the first stitch in and here it is on the last stretch. Will you frame it yourself or go to a framer's?

I think it will have to be properly framed. No point in all those months of work then having a poor framing job done by me lol

In all honesty, I don't think I wouldn't have worked as hard or as quickly on this if I hadn't had this thread to come and report updates on, so thanks guys :T:j

Squishy - wow, what a bargain!! Let us know if the thread smell is any good when you get them, it's not something I have ever tried.

  • Evening all,

Fab progress pics everyone :T Haven't managed to get started on my second rr yet as I needed size 28 needles, which I managed to get hold of today.

Probably won't get much done tonight as need to make dinner (bad hubby - home all day and never thought to prep anything!) then go to the dreaded supermarket... might get half an hour if I'm lucky :(

But hubby is working away for the next two days which means I have the house to myself tomorrow - so a quick dinner after work (and I'm finishing early for a mw visit:D) then I should be able to settle down and make some decent progress :j

And so far I'm resisting the temptation to look at that sale!!
  • No stitching today, as I've been to London for work today. :( Missed it as usual.

Squishy, I'm interested to know how those perfume ones work out for you, as they intrigue me. :)

    Well...you certainly haven't gone down the simple route ;) What a whopper!!:j

With that, my first piece of advice would be to mark off 10x10 squares with a wash-out marker to make the pattern easier to follow and make your life easier.

blimey that was a good find, perfect for cards. I like to do a couple of quick kits in between the bigger ones, and I do like to take a small project on holiday with me.
