Hello I know its VERY late in the year, but before I grab a cuppa and settle down to read ALL this thread (yes its quiet today!) I just wanted to pop in as I'm coming back to cross stitch after a big break of about 7 years... Perfect winter evening hobby and I forgot how much I loved it:D
Am doing a card for my mum for her book tokens for Christmas, a Nelson and Tibs freebie, really lovely
I also have a vast amount of unfinished projects in my (dusty) workbox to do and next year is the year to do them (if I ever find the time!!)

Hi DansMum and welcome. You'll find we are a friendly bunch and you are more than welcome to join us.
What kind of designs do you like to stitch? I've almost finished my Santa (been saying that for weeks now) but usually do Lickle Ted or Winnie the Pooh type designs. I had a subscription to Cross Stitcher last year and it inspired me to step out of the box and try some different types.
I'd love to do a dictionary design that isn't Christmassy next. Don't suppose you want to nudge me a copy of the chart for the homes one Sammr? or the cakes one if anyone has it? The kits only seem to come with aida but I prefer to stitch on evenweve, and I already have so many threads I resent buying kits anyway but those don't seem to come in chart only form.0 -
I love that design sammr.
Me too Louise, never seen it before so googled it
Welcome DansMum :j:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
